Hitherto unknown class of N -vinylpyrrolyl acrylic acids, multifaceted monomers and prospective building blocks for fine organic synthesis, has been prepared. The chemistry is based on the fundamental works of Academician B.A. Trofimov, which allowed synthesis of the inexhaustible family of N -vinylpyrroles.
