Dizajn kostima, mode i tekstila iziskuje, uz veliki talent i umjetnički doprinos autora/studenata polaznika radionica i vrsno poznavanje materijala i tehnike izrade. The paper analyses international EDU workshops held as a result of collaboration of the association of artists engaged in applied arts – ULUPUH with institutions of higher education in Croatia and the region. Costume design, fashion and textile design also require, in addition to great talent and artistic contribution of the authors/students who attend the workshops, substantial knowledge of materials and technique. Workshops in the field of costume design, textile and fashion design, photography and art criticism have been organized since 2013 led by mentors/instructors and artists working in the relevant artistic and technical field. The project decreases the gap in the design skills through the use of different technologies and master skills. The creations are realized in ecologically acceptable materials. The main goal of the project is to provide additional education for art students above the official level so that they can become experts with master competencies in the construction of their creations, ending with public presentation of realized works in an exhibition in an established gallery.
