In the early 1990s Eric Pehota helped define big mountain skiing in such films as The White Room and Cosmic Winter. Pehota has made more than 40 first descents. Pehota skis 100 days a year, but he doesn't take risks. He enjoys hunting and being self-supportive by using his own sawmill to mill his own wood.
