Another way is to make a direct money donation, if the resources permit. The chapter presents a few examples of other ways of giving back such as sharing information on jobs, free classes, and professional events; helping friends with their resume, with interviewing, or with another project they are working on; donating old gadgets; and using portals to donate to charitable organizations.
