MCB Investments Corp. is operator/manager and part owner of Metropolitan Film Studios, a complex consisting of six production studios in Port Coquitlam, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia. The studio that "The Immortal" occupies is studio No. 1, which is 55,000 square feet of production space and offices. The other five studios available are currently in various stages of negotiation and discussion with other movie and TV production companies. The total facility is being developed as a full service movie studio complex, with ancillary services. Robert Bennett, President of MCB Investments Corp., stated, "This agreement propels our studio into the major leagues of the Vancouver Film Community with such a high profile tenant, and we are very happy to be working with Immortal Productions Inc. and Peace Arch Entertainment Group, Inc. Vancouver, known as `Hollywood North' is Canada's principal center of production. Fully serviced studio space in the Vancouver area is scarce, and the demand is growing, with over a billion dollars of production money spent in British Columbia last year."
