Comparison between thermal energy generation through photovoltaic panels and through solar collectors for storing it in heat storage tank : master's thesis of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies programme

This thesis describes the technologies of photovoltaic panels and solar collectors. This work focuses on the analysis of the storage of energy, generated by photovoltaic panels or solar collectors, ...through heat storage tanks. A prototype has been developed with a heat storage tank together with photovoltaic panels. Measurements were performed on the experimental system under different weather conditions. The simulation software TRNSYS is briefly described, as well as the devices that make up the prototype. In order to compare both configurations, on the one hand the generation of energy through solar panels and on the other hand through solar collectors to be stored in a heat storage tank.
