There are some stage achievements in this project through a two-year trial. The results have shown that in the shrub system, Zenia grew the fastest among the all shrubs tested and Leucaena came the ...second. In 12 pasture species of trial, the fine species were bala Panicum, Setaria, Broad leaf Paspalum, Guinea grass. In 6 differentt legume grass combinations, the best one was Cynodon+Guinea+Aeschynomene+white clover with the highest fresh yield and air dry matter yield and the second to the best was Panicum+Aeschynomene+white clover+dactylis grass. After seeding the pastures and shrubs, the biodiversities of trial site have been increased significantly. Fertilities ofsoil and ability of holding water have been improved, and the number of microorganism of the soil has also increased. The ecology of trial site is getting better and better.
