  • The relationship between positioning factors and performance : the case of companies in Slovenia

    Positioning forms the core of modern marketing theory and practice. How a company chooses to position itself and/or its products against competitors is central to its performance. In Slovenia there ... has been relatively little theoretical and almost no empirical research focused on the relationship between positioning factors and performance of companies in Slovenia. In the empirical part of the paper the results of the research of relationship between positioning factors and performance of companies in Slovenia will be presented testing the following hypothesis: Moderate positive relationship (r=0,4-0,6) exists between the average score of aggregate positioning factor and company performance items.
