Laser as a light source by precise electronic distance meters

This a short presentation of a development in the field of electronic distancemeters with special emphasis on the improvements through lase use. A comparison between two instruments is given: The AGA ...6, one of the first instruments of this kind, and Mekometer ME 5000, which is considered to be one of the best distance meters of all. Also some measuring results with ME 5000 are presented
