Tok newtonske in nenewtonske tekočine v cevnem kolenu

The paper presented deals with a laminar flow of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid in a pipe bend. For a curvature radius Rc = 3D and Reynolds number values Re = 20, 40,..., 100, 200, ..., 500 the ...numerical analysis was performed with a finite volume method. Experimental results were used for verification of numerical procedure. Analysis and comparison of numerical results with those available in open literature confirmed the suitability of the Quadratic model for accomodating the dilatant behavior of an electrostatic ash and water mixture as well as its applicability for numerical modeling.
