Buğday özellikle insanların beslenmesinde büyük rol üstlenmiştir. Yetiştirilmesi son derece zahmetsiz olsada yapılan araştırmalar, iklim değişikliğinden buğdayında olumsuz etkileneceğini ortaya ...koymuştur. Anadolu’da buğday ekili alanlarda verim ve kaliteyi arttırmak için gübreleme yapılmaktadır. Gübreleme yapılırken uygulanan miktara, uygulama zamanına ve gübre türüne dikkat edilmesi gerekir. Kontrolsüz yapılan gübreleme toprağa ve çevreye zarar vermektedir. Toprağı verimsiz hale getirirken, atmosferede sera gazı salınımına neden olacaktır. Bu durum ise buğday üretiminde ki karbon ayak izinin artmasına neden olacaktır. Yaptığımız bu çalışma da buğday üretimi yapılırken çiftçiler tarafından kullanılan gübrelerin, kullanım miktarına bağlı olarak ürettiği karbon ayak izini hesapladık.
Concrete, quickly damageable due to its properties such as weak in tension, limited ductility, little resistance to cracking, is one of the construction materials. Recently, microbial-induced calcite ...precipitation increased the performance and service-life of concrete structures have attracted wide attention in civil engineering applications. This project presents the calcite precipitation influence of Bacillus cereus showing urease activity from Kilis soil. Bacillus sp. showed 1.38 ± 0.07 µmol/min/mg urease enzyme activity. The calcium precipitation-induced B. cereus was carried out using medium adding water as a natural source of calcium. The morphology and elemental composition of the calcite were investigated using scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray mapping and X-ray diffraction analyses. The formation of hexagonal rhombohedral calcite and orthorhombic aragonite crystals was observed by mineralogical analyses. These results indicated that the usage of bacteria like B. cereus may be enhanced the strength and durability of concrete.

Mevsimsel (Ekim, Ocak, Nisan ve Temmuz) olarak alınan örneklerde En Muhtemel Sayı yöntemi ile total ...koliform varlığı test edilmiştir. İçme suyu olarak kullanılan bu kaynaklarda tespit edilen toplam koliform sayısı 3-1100

They act as repositories for microbial strains as part of patent deposits, confidential services to store key ...organisms for research, industry and society and sources of microorganisms cited in scientific papers that can be used in the confirmation of results and for further studies. Microbial culture collections are considered as libraries, but instead of books they hold microorganisms. The first culture collection was established by Prof. Frantisek Král in 1890 at the German University of Prague. After this collection, many culture collections established. Now there are 568 culture collections over the world. These collections categorize as national collections which provide extensive services or small collections which supply strains or related services by special agreement. Microorganisms provide many solutions to world problems in public health, food, environment and poverty and they are extremely important for various ecosystems.
