Student’s perception is the student's assessment of something or information. The objective of this study was to discover how students' general perceptions and gender differences in electronic ...modules of mathematical physics. The research type is survey-based research with quantitative approach. The research population consists of physics education students from Universitas Jambi with the sample of 80 students from class A and class B. The data analysis techniques used in the study are descriptive statistics analysis and inferential data analysis using t-tests. The results showed that, overall, students have a positive perception with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.011 < 0.005, which means that there is a significant difference in students’ perception. The perception of class A students with gender differences has a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.003, while the grade B students have a Sig. (2 tailed) values of 0.020 and 0.013. This means that class A and classs B students have a discernible difference of perception. Student’s perception may be used as a determining factor in the choice of learning materials. This research can be used as a guideline for the development of student perception assessment in the electronic module of Mathematical Physics in the future. The update of this study aims to compare students' perceptions of the overall online module of mathematics and gender differences.
Abstrak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengunaan PhET Interactive Simulations sebagai pendukung maupun penganti laboratorium real dalam pembelajaran fisika. Adapun topik yang diangkat ...meliputi apa itu PhET interactive simulation, kegunaan PhET interactive simulation dalam pembelajaran fisika dan pengaruh pengunaan Phet Interactive Simulation dalam pembelajaran fisika dibanding laboratorium Real. Analisis data dilakukan dengan meeduksi data berdasarkan pertanyaan penelitian dan kemudian dilakukan pengkodean sesuai kebutuhan. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur didapatkan bahwa PhET merupakan sebuah simulasi yang dikembangkan oleh Universitas Colorado yang difokuskan pada pembelajaran fisika yang menekankan korespondensi antara fenomena nyata dan simulasi komputer kemudian menyajikannya dalam model-model konseptual fisis yang mudah dimengerti oleh para peserta didik. Simulasi ini dapat membantu peserta didik maupun peserta didik dalam mengenal topik baru, membangun konsep atau skill, memperkuat ide, menyediakan hasil akhir dan refleksi serta menyediakan visualisasi umum antara peserta didik dan guru. Selain itu juga hasil dari beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengunaan PhET memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda dari segi penguasaan konsep, hasil belajar dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik, karena PhET dapat menjelaskan konsep yang abstrak dan dalam pengunaannya tidak memerlukan waktu yang banyak.
Abstract. This article aims to explain the use of PhET Interactive Simulations as supporters and substitutes for real laboratories in learning physics. The topics raised include what is PhET interactive simulation, the use of PhET interactive simulation in learning physics and the effect of using Phet Interactive Simulation in learning physics compared to the Real laboratory. Data analysis was performed by reducing data based on research questions and then coding them as needed. Based on the results of the literature study it was found that PhET is a simulation developed by the University of Colorado that is focused on learning physics that emphasizes the correspondence between real phenomena and computer simulations and then presents it in physical conceptual models that are easily understood by students. This simulation can help students and students recognize new topics, develop concepts or skills, strengthen ideas, provide final results and reflections and provide general visualization between students and teachers. In addition, the results of several studies indicate that the use of PhET gives different effects in terms of mastery of concepts, learning outcomes and students' problem solving abilities, because PhET can explain abstract concepts and their use does not require a lot of time.
The purpose of this study was to analyze students' science process skills in the reflection material on a flat mirror. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheet of science process ...skills. This type of research uses qualitative and quantitative research. With a sample of 84 students. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23 Program to get the average value of each indicator. Based on the results of this study, students' science process skills were classified as good at 27.93%. Some students are less enthusiastic in the learning process and in practical activities are also still low.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi pemantulan pada cermin datar. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dengan sampel sebanyak 84 siswa. Pada penelitian ini digunakan uji statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, keterampilan proses sains siswa tergolong baik yaitu 27,93%. Sebagian siswa kurang berantusias dalam proses belajar dan dalam kegiatan praktikum keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki siswa juga masih rendah
The white-fronted langur (Presbytis frontata) is categorised as a protected wildlife according to (P.106/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/8/2018). Forest degradation, land use change, and environmental damage due ...to human activities by encroaching on forests can cause habitat fragmentation. The preservation of white-fronted langurs may be threatened by degraded or unsuitable habitat conditions. This study aims to analyse the characteristics and components of white-fronted langur habitat and to analyse the suitability of white-fronted langur habitat in the Cantung watershed area of Kota Baru district, South Kalimantan. The research was conducted in September-October 2021. Data collection using the roaming method.This study concluded that there were 31 habitat distribution points with 72 individuals of white-fronted langurs observed. White-fronted langurs in the Cantung watershed area were found at an altitude of 5-85 m above sea level, optimal temperature of 20°-32°C, humidity of 78-95%, distance from water sources 200-500 m, distance from roads <200-600 m, locations with plantation land cover, dry land agriculture, mixed gardens and mining. The suitability of white-fronted langur habitat in the Cantung Watershed Area based on 6 habitat components shows the highest scoring value of 3 (high level of suitability).

The researcher employed a sample of 58 students from class IX junior high school Adhyaksa 1 Jambi City. The sampling technique in this study using cluster sampling. This study's research design is an associative quantitative research method with a correlational research design. Quantitative analysis uses the SPSS program to find descriptive, normality tests, linearity tests, and correlation tests. The results showed that the significance value obtained was less than 0.05. It was seen that there was a relationship between students' process skills and students' critical thinking abilities
