Dominating number of distance two $\gamma_2(G)$ is minimum cardinality of dominating set of distance two $S_2$. This research aims to see the perceptions of students in the Basic Physics II practical guide based on mobile learning. The study used quantitative methods with descriptive analysis. The instruments ...used were perception questionnaires and interview sheets. The results of the perceptions of students in the biology education study program are categorized as good with a percentage of 58.62% and in the mathematics education study program it is categorized as good with a percentage of 50%. From the data, it is known that the basic learning practice guide II based on mobile learning can support the learning process and practicum.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat persepsi mahasiswa pada penuntun praktikum Fisika Dasar II berbasis mobile learning. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket persepsi dan lembar wawancara. Hasil persepsi mahasiswa pada program studi pendidikan biologi dikategorikan baik dengan persentase sebesar 58.62% dan pada program studi pendidikan matematika dikategorikan baik dengan persentase sebesar 50%. Dari data diketahui bahwa penuntun praktikum fisika dasar II berbasis mobile learning dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran dan praktikum.
A graph is a mathematical system consisting of a non-empty set of nodes and a set of empty sides. One of the topics to be studied in graph theory is the metric dimension. Application in the metric ...dimension is the navigation robot system on a path. Robot moves from one vertex to another vertex in the field by minimizing the errors that occur in translating the instructions (code) obtained from the vertices of that location. To move the robot must give different instructions (code). In order for the robot to move efficiently, the robot must be fast to translate the code of the nodes of the location it passes. so that the location vertex has a minimum distance. However, if the robot must move with the vertex location on a very large field, so the robot can not detect because the distance is too far.6 In this case, the robot can determine its position by utilizing location vertices based on adjacency. The problem is to find the minimum cardinality of the required location vertex, and where to put, so that the robot can determine its location. The solution to this problem is the dimension of adjacency metric and adjacency metric bases. Rodrguez-Velzquez and Fernau combine the adjacency metric dimensions with local metric dimensions, thus becoming the local adjacency metric dimension. In the local adjacency metric dimension each vertex in the graph may have the same adjacency representation as the terms of the vertices. To obtain the local metric dimension of values in the graph of the Sun and the stacked book graph is used the construction method by considering the representation of each adjacent vertex of the graph.
This study aims to analyze students' science process skills on specific heat material by reviewing two aspects of basic science process skills indicators (observation and classification), and two ...indicators of integrated science process skills (identifying variables and making hypotheses). This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. In this study, the sample used was 35 students of physics education of batch 2018 who were randomly selected. The assessment instrument used was the science process skills observation sheet with the skill score used in the form of a Likert scale. The results of the study show that the students' mastery of basic science process skills on the observation indicator is 65% in the good category, 30% in the high category, and 10% in the category of not good to low, whereas, the classification indicators obtained are 54.3% and 37.1% of students have mastered classification skills in both good and high categories. The remaining 8.6% are classified in the not good category. For the mastery of integrated science process skills in the variable identification indicator, 60% of them are in the good category and 14.3% in the high category. The rest are in the category of not good and low. For the indicators of skills in making hypotheses, 65.7% and 14.3% are in the good and high categories. It proves that physics education students have mastery of science process skills that are in the good category.
Based on the observations in mathematics physics I, several obstacles were found in teaching and learning activities such as the lack of teaching materials that were easily understood by students. ...This is because the main books used are books in English as a whole. Therefore, the researcher developed an electronic book, namely the e-module of mathematical physics I on partial differential material created using the 3D PageFlip Professional application. The type of research used is a comparative type of quantitative research. The population in this study were students of physics education class 2019 with a sample of 80 regular classes A and B. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using the IBM SPSS Statistic 25 application consisting of descriptive test, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. In the assumption test, the data is normally distributed and homogeneous so that a t-test can be performed. The t-test obtained a sig value of 0,043 for gender differences in class A, and 0,010 for gender differences in class B. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there are significant (significant) differences in perceptions based on gender in each. class A and B. Where the perception of female students is higher than the perception of male students, but overall students gave a good perception of the mathematics physics e-module on partial differential material.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika pada materi hukum termodinamika. Populasi penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa program ...studi pendidikan fisika universitas Jambi angkatan 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, jadi sampel penelitian ini yaitu seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan fisika universitas Jambi dengan total 91 mahasiswa di angkatan 2017. Indikator keterampilan proses yang diamati meliputi observasi, klasifikasi, membuat hipotesis, hubungan antar variabel, merencanakan percobaan, mengukur, memperoleh dan memproses data, analisis percobaan, komunikasi, serta kesimpulan. Data keterampilan proses diukur melalui lembar observasi, pada saat praktikan melakukan kegiatan praktikum hukum termodinamika. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa fisika bervariasi dari kategori baik seperti observasi42,85%, klasifikasi 36,26%, mengukur 37,36%, analisis percobaan 32,96%, serta merencanakan percobaan 42,85%, kesimpulan 54,94%, membuat hipotesis 51,54%, dan hubungan antar variabel 42,85%. Selanjutnya untuk kategori tidak baik seperti komunikasi 39,56%, serta memperoleh dan memproses data 45,05%, Hasil ini menunjukkan mahasiswa belum menguasai keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada beberapa indikator. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya buku panduan pratikum berbasis keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa melalui kegiatan praktikum.This study aims to describe the science process skills of students in physics education program on the subject matter of thermodynamic law. The population of this study is the students of physics education program at Jambi University in 2017. The sampling technique using total sampling, so the sample of this study is all students of physics education program at Jambi university with a total of 91 students in 2017. The science process skills indicators observed to include observation, classification, hypothesized, relationships between variables, planning experiments, measuring, obtain and process data, experimental analysis, communication, and conclusions. Data science process skills was collected through observation sheets when the practitioner conducts the practicum thermodynamic law. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study, science process skills of physics students varied from good categories such as observation 42.85%, classification 36.26%, measuring 37.36%, experimental analysis 32.96%, and planning experiments 42.85%, conclusions 54, 94%, hypothesized 51.54%, and the relationship between variables was 42.85%. Furthermore, for the bad category such as communication 39.56%, and obtaining and processing 45.05%. These results indicate that students have not mastered the students' science process skills on several indicators. Therefore, it necessary to have a science process skills based practicum guidebook to improve student science process skills through practicum activities.
This study aims to determine student perceptions of the physics-mathematical e-module based on gender differences. This type of research is quantitative research. This research targets the students ...of the physics education study program at the Jambi University class of 2019, consisting of classes A, B, and C with a research sample of 120 people using simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and used normality, homogeneity, and ANOVA tests. The results of the Anova test showed that there were differences in perceptions based on gender, with a significance of 0.018 for females and 0.025 for males, which means that there are differences in student perceptions. Furthermore, this difference can be seen in the LSD follow up test where there are two classes for the female gender, which have significant differences in perception in class A and class C with a significance of 0.044 and classes B and C with a significance 0.011 for the female gender. Meanwhile, in the male gender, only classes B and C have a significant difference with a significance value of 0.07. However, overall, students gave a good perception of this e-module so that this e-module can be used in learning mathematics and physics on partial differential material.
