Using the SND detector, the process
was studied in the energy range between 1.05 and 2.00 GeV. The respective measurement was performed on the basis of data accumulated in the experiments at the ...VEPP-2000 electron–positron collider throughout the runs of 2011 and 2012. Also, the invariant-mass spectra of the
and
combinations were analyzed in the energy range between 1.15 and 2 GeV. This resulted in finding an indication that the
excited state decayed predominantly through the
intermediate state.
The process
is studied in the range of center-of-mass (c.m.) collision energies between 1.05 and 2.00 GeV on the basis of data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 94.5 pb
that were ...accumulated in an experiment with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000
collider. The cross section for this process was measured for the first time and was found to receive a dominant contribution from the mechanism of a transition through an
intermediate state. The cross section measured for the process
agrees with the results of earlier measurements in the channel
. At a level of 5.7 standard deviations (5.7
), it is established that the process
is not fully described by hadronic intermediate states of the
type. The cross section was measured for this missing contribution, which may be generated by radiative processes—for example,
. It ranges from 15 to 20 pb over a broad energy interval extending from 1.3 to 1.9 GeV.

intermediate state makes a dominant contribution to the transition in question.
A radiographic facility for an investigation of fast dynamic processes with areal density of targets up to 5 g/cm2 is under development on the basis of high-current proton linear accelerator at the ...Institute for Nuclear Research (Troitsk, Russia). A virtual model of the proton microscope developed in a software toolkit Geant4 is presented in the article. Fullscale Monte-Carlo numerical simulation of static radiographic experiments at energy of a proton beam 247 MeV was performed. The results of simulation of proton radiography experiments with static model of shock-compressed xenon are presented. The results of visualization of copper and polymethyl methacrylate step wedges static targets also described.
In an experiment with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000

and
were measured at collision energies of
GeV in the center-of-mass frame. The results agree ...with the results of earlier measurements in the BABAR experiment and have a commensurate precision.

A threshold Cherenkov counter based on dense aerogel with refraction index n=1.13 is described. This counter is used for kaon identification at momenta below 1GeV/c in the SND detector, which takes ...data at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. The results of measurements of the counter efficiency using electrons, muons, pions, and kaons produced in e+e− annihilation are presented.

Silica aerogel blocks are being produced for use in Cherenkov detectors by a collaboration of Boreskov Institute of Catalysis and Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics since 1986. Novosibirsk aerogel ...is used in several detectors; among them are KEDR, SND (BINP, Novosibirsk), LHCb (CERN, Geneva), AMS (for International Space Station mission) and others. Currently our investigations are going on in two directions: multilayer aerogels for Focusing Aerogel RICH and aerogels with high index of refraction. We have synthesized two-, three- and four-layer aerogel tiles with dimensions of 115
mm×115
mm. We have modernized the method of pinhole drying for preparation of aerogels with refractive index in the range of 1.07–1.20.
Conditions of formation of gradient copolymers characterized by a continuous change in composition along each chain and methods of their synthesis by living ionic and pseudoliving radical ...polymerizations are considered. Characteristics, structure, and physicochemical properties of gradient copolymers are discussed.
In this paper, we present the form factor
measurement in the virtual photon mass range 1 GeV <
< 2 GeV in the
process. Measurements are based on the data acquired by the SND detector at the VEPP-2000
...collider in Novosibirsk. The obtained form factor is approximated in the vector meson dominance (VMD) model. The joint fitting of the form factor obtained in the SND and NA60 experiments is also performed.

Recent results of the SND detector experiments are presented. Data were taken at the VEPP-2000 and the VEPP-2M e+e− colliders in the Novosibirsk in the c.m. energy ranges from 0.3 to 2.00 GeV. ...Integrated luminosity used are 70pb-1 and 25pb-1 respectively. The cross sections of the e+e− → π0γ, K+K−, ωπ0, π+π−π0η, ωη, ωηπ0 processes has been measured.
