Developments in information technology can facilitate the planning and implementation of sustainable development. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is one such technology that can be utilized to ...achieve this goal. BIM has now reached dimensions of 6D and even 7D, with 6D BIM being used for energy analysis and 7D BIM for facility management during the operational and maintenance period of a building. This paper aims to discuss patterns, gaps, and trends in the utilization of BIM for effective building operation and maintenance. Bibliometric data mapping was conducted using VOSviewer® software, and 219 scholarly bibliographic records from the Scopus database between 2009 and 2023 were analyzed. The results showed that the highest publication growth was in 2021, with 36 publications (16.44%). China published the most articles, with 74 (29.84%). Recent research reviews indicate that BIM can facilitate the O&M process of a facility, including maintenance and repair, energy management, and security. However, there are still many challenges related to the BIM 7D function, such as data interoperability issues and the need for a framework for using BIM. The study also examines the application of BIM 7D in Indonesia. Further research is needed to balance the utilization of BIM for facility management with its application for asset management.
We present new constraints on sub-GeV dark-matter particles scattering off electrons based on 6780.0 kg d of data collected with the DarkSide-50 dual-phase argon time projection chamber. This ...analysis uses electroluminescence signals due to ionized electrons extracted from the liquid argon target. The detector has a very high trigger probability for these signals, allowing for an analysis threshold of three extracted electrons, or approximately 0.05 keVee. We calculate the expected recoil spectra for dark matter-electron scattering in argon and, under the assumption of momentum-independent scattering, improve upon existing limits from XENON10 for dark-matter particles with masses between 30 and 100 MeV/c^{2}.
Liquid argon is a bright scintillator with potent particle identification properties, making it an attractive target for direct-detection dark matter searches. The DarkSide-50 dark matter search here ...reports the first WIMP search results obtained using a target of low-radioactivity argon. DarkSide-50 is a dark matter detector, using a two-phase liquid argon time projection chamber, located at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. The underground argon is shown to contain super(39) Ar at a level reduced by a factor (1.4+ or -0.2)x10 super(3) relative to atmospheric argon. We report a background-free null result from (2616+ or -43)kgd of data, accumulated over 70.9 live days. When combined with our previous search using an atmospheric argon, the 90% C.L. upper limit on the WIMP-nucleon spin-independent cross section, based on zero events found in the WIMP search regions, is 2.0x10 super(-44)cm super(2)(8.6x10-44cm super(2), 8.0x10 super(-43)cm super(2)) for a WIMP mass of 100GeV/c super(2)(1TeV/c super(2), 10TeV/c super(2)).
In this paper, a model able to analyse the seismic behaviour of road network in urban areas, considering interaction between buildings and roads is presented. Damage to buildings and short-term ...countermeasures, such as propping, can affect roads and even block them, reducing capacity of the road network. Two successive phases are considered. In the first, immediately after the seismic event, emergency services have to reach the relevant buildings. Here, the network topology is of interest. In the second, in the long term, network capacity is not yet completely restored and network demand has to account for displaced people due to unusable buildings. In this case, road serviceability is of interest. In order to consider uncertainties on building behaviour, a probabilistic approach is developed and the network is analysed by means of Monte Carlo simulation. The methodology is applied to the municipality of Potenza (southern Italy) evaluating in the short term, the probability of strategic buildings are not connected and, in the long term, road serviceability.

...ton of liquid scintillator. The neutrino event rate in the scintillator is expected to be low (
∼
0.35
events per day per ton), and the signals will be at energies below 1.5
MeV, where background from natural radioactivity is prominent. Scintillation light produced by the recoil electrons is observed by an array of 2240 photomultiplier tubes. Because of the intrinsic radioactive contaminants in these PMTs, the liquid scintillator is shielded from them by a thick barrier of buffer fluid. A spherical vessel made of thin nylon film contains the scintillator, separating it from the surrounding buffer. The buffer region itself is divided into two concentric shells by a second nylon vessel in order to prevent inward diffusion of radon atoms. The radioactive background requirements for Borexino are challenging to meet, especially for the scintillator and these nylon vessels. Besides meeting requirements for low radioactivity, the nylon vessels must also satisfy requirements for mechanical, optical, and chemical properties. The present paper describes the research and development, construction, and installation of the nylon vessels for the Borexino experiment.
We present the results of a search for dark matter weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) in the mass range below 20 GeV/c^{2} using a target of low-radioactivity argon with a 6786.0 kg d ...exposure. The data were obtained using the DarkSide-50 apparatus at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. The analysis is based on the ionization signal, for which the DarkSide-50 time projection chamber is fully efficient at 0.1 keVee. The observed rate in the detector at 0.5 keVee is about 1.5 event/keVee/kg/d and is almost entirely accounted for by known background sources. We obtain a 90% C.L. exclusion limit above 1.8 GeV/c^{2} for the spin-independent cross section of dark matter WIMPs on nucleons, extending the exclusion region for dark matter below previous limits in the range 1.8-6 GeV/c^{2}.
The DarkSide-50 direct-detection dark matter experiment is a dual-phase argon time projection chamber operating at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. This paper reports on the blind analysis of a ...(16 660±270) kg d exposure using a target of low-radioactivity argon extracted from underground sources. We find no events in the dark matter selection box and set a 90% C.L. upper limit on the dark matter–nucleon spin-independent cross section of 1.14×10−44 cm2 (3.78×10−44 cm2, 3.43×10−43 cm2) for a WIMP mass of 100 GeV/c2 (1 TeV/c2, 10 TeV/c2).
