It is important to select the right supplier to create sustainable supply chain structures. Identifying suppliers that are particularly sensitive to the environment and human health, that is, green suppliers, is among the main objectives in the supplier selection process. The green supplier selection (GSS) problem is mostly the subject of multi-criteria decision-making and multi-attribute group decision-making research. In this research, the GSS problem of a hotel business is discussed. Technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) technique was applied by using spherical fuzzy numbers in the research. Within the scope of the research, three decision makers, four alternatives and four criteria (Economic, quality, social and environmental criteria) were used. The collected data based on spherical fuzzy linguistic expressions were combined with the Spherical Weighted Arithmetic Mean (SWAM) operator and the criteria were weighted. Alternatives are ranked by TOPSIS technique based on spherical fuzzy numbers. According to the research findings, the GSS criterion weight of the hotel business was determined as the highest criterion quality criterion and the lowest criterion as social criterion. As a result of the application, the alternatives were ranked, and the third alternative was determined as the best alternative. It has been suggested to the researchers to apply multi-criteria group decision making techniques with fuzzy numbers in solving GSS problem.
Purpose- Customs are the main transit points in cross-border trade activities. Customs logistics activities are carried out by authorized customs brokerage companies (CBC). Export/import companies ...that execute customs clearance with the right CBC partners gain competitive advantage. Therefore, selecting the right CBC is an important decision-making problem. In this research, CBC selection problem is handled with fuzzy-based multi criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods.
Methodology- The research application covers the CBC selection process of an export firm. The criteria for the problem are obtained as a result of the literature review. The opinions of the decision makers are also taken. Seven criteria have been identified. These criteria are cost/price, service quality, information system and technology, flexibility, relationship, professionalism, reputation. Fuzzy-based stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis (F-SWARA) method is used for criterion weighting. In order of alternatives, ranking of alternatives through functional mapping of criterion sub-intervals into single interval (F-RAFSI) method is applied. Four decision makers are used to compare the criteria.
Findings- Four CBC alternative rankings based on criteria are made. According to the research findings, the highest criterion weight is determined as service quality. The first alternative is chosen as the best alternative.
Conclusion- CBC alternative sequencing has been made for the export company by applying fuzzy-based MCDM methods. Thus, the applicability of MCDM methods is supported in CBC company selection. In addition, the CBC selection criteria are determined, and the CBC selection problem are shed light on. Suggestions are also made to export companies and researchers based on the results of the research.

National entrepreneurship and national competitiveness are two basic factors that affect the economic development of countries. In this study, the effect of national entrepreneurship on national ...competitiveness is examined. Linear and non-linear regression analyzes were applied as research method. Non-linear regression model estimates were obtained with the curve estimation model application. Obtained models are presented comparatively. The sample consists of 52 countries. The national entrepreneurship scores of the countries were obtained from the “Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM)” reports. National competitiveness scores are derived from “Global Competitiveness Index (GCI)” reports. The research period is 2019 before the pandemic. According to the research findings, the model with the highest percentage of explanation among the non-linear models is determined as the "Qubic" estimation model. When the Qubic non-linear model and linear model are compared, both models are found to be significant. In addition, it is concluded that the percentage of explanation of the non-linear model is higher than the linear model. Based on the findings, it has been suggested to develop country-specific entrepreneurship strategies as well as general entrepreneurship strategies in determining national entrepreneurship strategies.

This study presents a hybrid fuzzy Multi-Attribute Group Decision Making (MAGDM) model with application to commercial insurance selection. The proposed hybrid model uses Spherical Fuzzy (SF) sets ...using Yager t-norm and t-conorm operations. The Logarithmic Decomposition of Criteria Importance (LODECI) method is used for criterion weighting due to its efficacy in stabilizing scenarios that may challenge other weighting techniques. For alternative ranking, the study employs the Alternative Ranking Technique based on Adaptive Standardized Intervals (ARTASI), offering enhanced flexibility in handling uncertainties inherent in expert evaluations. The combination of these methods and the utilization of SF sets gives rise to the proposed SF-LODECI-ARTASI hybrid model. The paper systematically delineates the procedural steps involving SF sets, Yager t-norm and t-conorm operations, SF-LODECI, and SF-ARTASI methods. Subsequently, the developed hybrid model is applied to a case study of commercial insurance selection, supported by a numerical example. The research application results emphasize the consistency of these findings with other alternative methods. Additionally, sensitivity scenarios are constructed to scrutinize the robustness of the proposed hybrid model. The study concludes by elucidating implications and contributions to the existing literature.

Digital projects aspiring to reach target audiences are executed through decentralized and trustworthy blockchain platforms (BPs). Once the objectives and target audience of a digital project are ...defined, the selection of suitable BPs is undertaken. The primary objective of this research is to develop a decision support system that aids in the selection of BPs for transferring digital data and assets. Numerous quantitative parameters determine the performance of BPs, alongside qualitative parameters indicating their performance. In this study, the aim is to determine the performance of BPs based on both qualitative and quantitative parameters. Within this scope, a multi-criteria decision-making approach and interval-valued spherical fuzzy (IVSF) sets are adopted. IVSF sets are utilized to determine expert importance levels. The IVSF-criteria importance assessment (CIMAS) method is introduced for the weighting of criteria. IVSF-CIMAS enables the determination of reliability levels in calculating criterion weights. The IVSF-simple weighted sum product (WISP) method is formulated to obtain the performance ranking of BPs. Thus, in this research, the IVSF-CIMAS-WISP hybrid model is developed, and an algorithm for this novel decision-analytic model is presented. A case study is developed focusing on BP selection for a digital project to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed hybrid model. The robustness of IVSF-CIMAS-WISP is tested through extensive sensitivity analysis scenarios. According to the research results, the applicability of the IVSF-CIMAS-WISP hybrid method is supported and its robustness is confirmed. The research findings provide numerous insights for project managers and practitioners.
•The interval-valued spherical fuzzy CIMAS-WISP hybrid model is formulated.•The blockchain platform selection problem for digital projects is addressed.•The presented IVSF-based group decision-analytic tool is generalizable and robust.•A novel MCGDM-based perspective on the selection of blockchain platforms is offered.•Analytical insights and implications for project managers and practitioners are given.
