The role of mass media in the processes of interpretation and assessment of various fragments of reality is discussed in the article. The problem of the entry of legal concepts into the media ...discourse is raised and the task is set to study the changes occurring in this process, which ultimately lead to the formation of new conceptual units — media concepts. The designated task is solved in the process of analyzing one of the key legal concepts LEGITIMACY. It has been demonstrated that the Russian mass media significantly modify each of the three components of the legal concept, that is, the media virus is “implanted” into the conceptual, figurative and value layers. It allows us to speak of three strategies of mediatization: definitional, metaphorical and evaluative. It is shown that the definitional strategy contributes to the emergence of new features in the conceptual layer of the LEGITIMACY concept (‘trust’, ‘approval’, ‘support’, ‘respect’, ‘fairness’, ‘the phenomenon of consciousness’ and ‘subjective feeling’). It is noted that the metaphorical strategy additionally forms such linguo-culturally specific features as ‘defectiveness’ and ‘object of political manipulation’, the evaluative strategy gives the positively perceived concept of LEGITIMACY a negative connotation (conceptual signs of ‘doubtfulness’ and ‘imaginary’ develop), which is an alarming marker reflecting the current situation in Russian society. It is pointed out that the recorded changes indicate the importance of the discursive factor in the study of concepts.
The article was accomplished at the intersection of such relevant areas of modern linguistics as political linguistics, linguistic personology and linguistic metaphorology. The purpose of the article ...is to provide an overview of the work of foreign and domestic linguists for 2009-2019, devoted to the analysis of metaphorical models in the idiolics of politicians, to identify the main trends in research of this kind. The analysis showed that linguistic-personal research on metaphorics in political communication is carried out in a cognitive, pragmatic, stylistic, rhetorical, semiotic, psycholinguistic perspectives. It was revealed that according to the criterion “object of analysis” they can be characterized in territorial, status, ideological, gender, chronological, temporal and comparative aspects. The analytical review presented in the article demonstrates that there is a research asymmetry in modern linguistic-political personology: the work on federal politicians predominates over the work on regional politicians, the work on representatives of the political elite over the work on political opposition, the work on male politicians over the work on politicians - women, work on existing politicians - on work on the great politicians of the past. The authors believe that due to the indicated asymmetry in the objects of research, the task of linguopolitical personology should be to fill in the existing gaps.
In accordance with the federal target program for the development of resorts in the North Caucasus, the Government of the Russian Federation announced its intention to build five more modern ...European-class ski resorts in the region over the next 10 years. Construction of complexes, including in the village of Veduchi (Chechen Republic is planned). In the territory of the "Veduchi" resort such dangerous exogenous processes as avalanches are largely developed. This work is devoted to engineering and hydrometeorological surveys for the object "Skiing infrastructure on the north-oriented slope of the Veduchi ASTRC", assessment of avalanche danger.
The paper is devoted to the comparison of different approaches to parallel solution of 3D forward and inverse problems of airborne electromagnetic (EM) surveys when multidimensional processing of ...data obtained on large areas is needed. The mathematical models for the solution of 3D forward and inverse problems and different methods of their parallelization are considered. The results of numerical experiments for the airborne EM survey problem, which is typical of prospecting the kimberlite bodies in Eastern Siberia, are presented. It is shown that the combination of different techniques of parallelization in a distributed computational system, taking into account the specifics of the numerical schemes implementation for forward and inverse problems solution, makes it possible to achieve the speedup close to linear.
The paper presents a new approach to construction of complex geological models and generation of finite element meshes in order to perform 3D modeling and multidimensional processing of airborne ...geophysical data. The main principles of geological models construction are considered. They are based on defining geological models in terms of the subject field and take into account their main specifics: complex background media, curvilinear Earth surface relief and borders between the geological layers, complex shape of target objects, etc. We consider the necessary data structures and specifics of finite element mesh generation. The example of generation of the finite element mesh for a geological model typical of airborne geophysical surveys is shown.
The materials use in structures and calculations for buildings and structures in Russia is determined, inter alia, by the normative loads of snow cover on the construction site. An urgent task is to ...determine its significance for the unexplored areas. The results of determining the normative value of the snow cover weight and changes with the height of the snow weight terrain for the designed objects of the "Udokan" Mining and Metallurgical Combine at the altitudes from 600 to 2000 m are presented. To determine the estimated snow load on buildings and structures in the territory of the facility creation, we used the series of the water supply annual maximums in the snow cover obtained as a result of the snow-measuring route observations at high-altitude weather stations located close to the designed objects. Based on the data of weather stations, a regression linear model of the water supply dependence in the snow cover on the height above the sea level was built. The main calculation method for finding the coefficients of a linear equation is the least squares method. It was revealed that with an increase in the height above the sea level by 1 m, the water supply in the snow cover increases by about 0.1 mm.
