Aim. To study the political aspects of the volunteer movement, including an assessment of its role in reducing the potential for political conflict, analysis of the possibilities of ...political resocialization and indoctrination of the consciousness of participants in this movement, as well as its possibilities to become an independent political actor.
Methodology is a comparative analysis of the volunteer movement in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, differing in intensity of the formation of civil society institutions. The empirical base of the study was the results of a sociological survey conducted by the authors in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra and in the Perm Territory.
Results. The analysis has shown that a positive political effect of the development of the volunteer movement is the secondary political socialization of its participants. At the same time, the role of volunteering in the formation of solidarity ties in society remains small, which is probably due to the lack of altruistic motivation of members of the volunteer movement. The possibilities for purposeful indoctrination by mean of symbolic politics are insignificant. However, the possibilities of non-profit organization as a platform for the formation of civic consciousness should not be exaggerated either. In general, the volunteer movement does not have the resources to turn into an independent political actor.
Research implications. The analysis of the institutional possibilities and limitations of the volunteer movement proposed by the authors deepens the theoretical understanding of the peculiarities of the formation of civil society in modern Russia.
The article describes the methodology of empirical research of the state of interethnic relations as the basis of operational political analysis. The authors propose the conceptualization and ...definition of the concept of “interethnic harmony”. This made it possible to single out a group of factors that are the prerequisites for interethnic accord in the region, which were used as variables during a sociological survey in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The use of cluster analysis made it possible to create a map of the interethnic accord status across the region municipalities.

This paper describes the algorithm of determining the optimal transponder configuration of the communication satellite while in service. This method uses a mathematical model of the pay load scheme ...based on the finite-state machine. The repeater scheme is shown as a weighted oriented graph that is represented as plexus in the program view. This paper considers an algorithm example for application with a typical transparent repeater scheme. In addition, the complexity of the current algorithm has been calculated. The main peculiarity of this algorithm is that it takes into account the functionality and state of devices, reserved equipment and input-output ports ranged in accordance with their priority. All described limitations allow a significant decrease in possible payload commutation variants and enable a satellite operator to make reconfiguration solutions operatively.

The article assesses the current state of the city elevator industry, analyzes statistical data that reflect the number of overtime workers in accordance with the established norms of time norms of ...safe operation and non-working elevators. A comparative analysis of the characteristics of typical elevator drives. It is noted that on the basis of the study it is possible to draw the following conclusions and provide recommendations. In the conditions of budget deficit the organizations servicing elevators need to try to find means for updating or modernization of this type of transport independently that will lead to growth of acceleration of terms of performance of technical works. For example, private investment can be such a source of funding. In the absence of sufficient funding, service organizations can lease the necessary equipment. An important issue is to increase the level of training for quality maintenance of elevators. It is necessary to gradually replace elevators that have served their standard service life (first of all, these are elevators that have worked for more than 35 years, then 25 years, and so on). The renewed elevators should be based on modern innovative technologies that would ensure energy savings and be equipped with the latest methods of control, monitoring the technical condition of the elevator system remotely, it will significantly increase the level of quality and speed of service.

У статті дана оцінка сучасному стану міського ліфтового господарства, проведено аналіз статистичних даних, які відображають кількість працюючих понаднормово відповідно до встановлених нормативами ...часових норм безпечної експлуатації та непрацюючих ліфтів. Проведено порівняльний аналіз характеристик типових ліфтових приводів. Зазначено, що на підставі проведеного дослідження можливо зробити такі висновки та надати рекомендації. В умовах бюджетного дефіциту організаціям, що обслуговують ліфти необхідно самостійно намагатись знаходити кошти для оновлення або модернізації цього виду транспорту, що призведе до росту прискорення строків виконання технічних робіт. Наприклад, таким джерелом фінансування можуть бути приватні інвестиції. За відсутності достатнього фінансування організації з обслуговування можуть отримувати необхідного обладнання шляхом лізингу. Важливим питанням є підвищення рівня підготовки кадрів для якісного технічного обслуговування ліфтів. Необхідна поетапна заміна ліфтів, які відпрацювали свій нормативний строк експлуатації (в першу чергу – це ліфти, що відпрацювали понад 35 років, потім 25 років і т.д.). В основу оновлених ліфтів необхідно закласти сучасні інноваційні технології, які б забезпечили енергозбереження та були обладнані новітніми методами контролю, моніторингу технічного стану ліфтової системи дистанційно, це суттєво підвищить рівень якості та швидкості обслуговування.
Transverse momentum spectra of π±, K± and p(p¯) up to pT=20 GeV/c at mid-rapidity in pp, peripheral (60–80%) and central (0–5%) Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=2.76 TeV have been measured using the ALICE ...detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The proton-to-pion and the kaon-to-pion ratios both show a distinct peak at pT≈3 GeV/c in central Pb–Pb collisions. Below the peak, pT<3 GeV/c, both ratios are in good agreement with hydrodynamical calculations, suggesting that the peak itself is dominantly the result of radial flow rather than anomalous hadronization processes. For pT>10 GeV/c particle ratios in pp and Pb–Pb collisions are in agreement and the nuclear modification factors for π±, K± and p(p¯) indicate that, within the systematic and statistical uncertainties, the suppression is the same. This suggests that the chemical composition of leading particles from jets in the medium is similar to that of vacuum jets.
