In order to establish a supply system for energy resource coupled with the environment, the production technology of sugar beets was explored as a biological energy source. The low-humic andosol as ...the experimental soil, the panting method was direct planting, and cultivation technique was minimum tillage direct planting method. The control was conventional tillage transplant and no tillage direct planting. The results demonstrated that data revealed that the energy cost of no tillage and a direct planting method was 105 GJ/hm2 on average for two years, while that of the conventional tillage method was 112 GJ/hm2 per year. The ratio of output to input showed that the direct planting with no tillage was more efficient (3.61) than the conventional tillage (3.01). Moreover, the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere with no tillage and the direct planting was 71% of the conventional tillage planting technique. Therefore, direct planting without tillage reduces the impact on the environment.
A novel natural macromolecule Antibacterial material was synthesized by reaction with carboxymethyl-chitosan, decanoyldimethylammonium and epichlorohydrin. Long chain quaternary ammonium (OGTA) was ...prepared by reaction with decanoyldimethylammonium and epichlorohydrin, using isopropylalcohol as solvent, at 55degC for 6 hours, and vacuum distillation. The yield was 87 percent. With 0.5 g CMCTS and 2 g OGTA as initiative materials, 0.5 g sodium hydroxide regulating the value of PH, reacting at 30 ml N-methylpyrrolidone for 8 hours and stirring quickly at 70degC, carboxymethylchitosan derivative (CMCTS-OGTA) was obtained. The yield was 95 percent. Characterization of the product by IR spectrum, 1 H-NMR spectrum and element analysis revealed that the experiments had got the wanted product. Bacteriostatic activity and antibacterial activity were characterized by the greatest bacteriostatic circle method, which indicated that CMCTS-OGTA definitely had an inhibitory activity against S. aureus and bacillus subtilis. Comparation of the Bacteriostatic activities of CMCTS-OGTA and CMCTS suggested that CMCTS-OGTA had more perfect Antibacterial capability. The lowest effectively antibacterial concentrations against Bacillus coli and S. aureus were also determined.
Geodesic distance estimation is one of the key steps in isometric data embedding. This paper presents a new method to improve the precision of geodesic distance estimation. Different from the ...previous methods, the new method enlarges the searching area for approximate geodesic curve from local neighborhood edges to locally linear patches, which naturally leads to more precise geodesic distance estimation. Experiment results evidently show the improvement brought by the new method.
MicroRNA knockout by genome editing technologies is promising. In order to extend the application of the technology and to investigate the function of a specific miRNA, we used CRISPR/Cas9 to deplete ...human miR-93 from a cluster by targeting its 5' region in HeLa cells. Various small indels were induced in the targeted region containing the Drosha processing site and seed sequences. Interestingly, we found that even a single nucleotide deletion led to complete knockout of the target miRNA with high specificity. Functional knockout was confirmed by phenotype analysis. Furthermore, de novo microRNAs were not found by RNA-seq. Nevertheless, expression of the pri-microRNAs was increased. When combined with structural analysis, the data indicated that biogenesis was impaired. Altogether, we showed that small indels in the 5' region of a microRNA result in sequence depletion as well as Drosha processing retard.
