Over time, people's stress increases for various reasons, leading to dangerous diseases in the future. In our implementation, we tried to categorize stress to help people by determining the severity ...of stress and providing guidance based on the severity of the stress. Stress levels are divided into 5 levels, and depending on the level of stress, different features are unlocked for coping up with stress as well as warn you of possible health problems in the future.Mental stress is a serious problem today. Increased stress now leads to numerous problems such as depression, suicide, a heart attack and stroke. This article calculates people's internal stress. Our ideal is to analyze people's stress at different times in their lives. The effect of internal pressure on a particular person often goes unnoticed. Our results will analyze how different factors affect people's minds and help them cope with stress.Through this paper, there is an attempt to contribute in this field and optimize the existing accuracy statistics.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical significance of the biomarkers procalcitonin (PCT) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in patients with febrile neutropenia (FN) undergoing ...chemotherapy for acute leukemia.
We conducted a prospective, observational study in patients who developed FN while undergoing chemotherapy for acute leukemia. PCT and CRP were obtained in patients who presented with FN. Blood cultures also were obtained. The primary goals were to evaluate the ability of PCT and CRP to predict bacteremia in patients with FN. The secondary goals were to assess the prognostic role of PCT and CRP and to assess the microbiologic profile and culture sensitivity patterns in the study population.
A total of 124 episodes of FN that involved 67 patients with acute leukemia occurred in the study. PCT was superior to CRP in the prediction of bacteremia. The median PCT level in the bacteremia group was 3.25 ng/mL compared with 0.51 ng/mL in the group without bacteremia (
< .01). The median values of CRP in the bacteremia and without-bacteremia groups were 119.3 mg/L and 94.5 mg/L, respectively (
= .07). There were no differences in median PCT and CRP in patients who died and those who improved. Of the 42 positive cultures, Gram-negative bacteremia was common (86%), and
was the most frequent organism isolated. Carbapenem resistance was seen in 39% of positive cultures.
PCT is an effective biomarker to predict bacteremia in patients with FN undergoing chemotherapy for acute leukemia.
A single-layer single-patch six-band U-slot patch antenna, with linear polarization, is proposed to satisfy the impedance bandwidth of WiMAX, WLAN, point to point communication, radar, C- band ...satellite communication applications. This antenna is made by cutting four asymmetrical U-slots in the patch with DGS and coaxial feed. In the proposed design the impedance bandwidths (|S11|<;-10dB) of 1.4%, 5.3%, 1.3%, 3.4%, 4.5% and 7.3% are achieved at central frequencies 3.27 GHz, 3.4 GHz, 3.9 GHz,4.9 GHz, 5.3 GHz and 6.1GHz, with gains of 9dBi, 7.9dBi, 7.5dBi, 6.8dBi, 7.7dBi and 6dBi, respectively. In the proposed antenna design the asymmetry of the U-slot arm provides one more degree of freedom. Proposed antenna is also simple and low cost in fabrication.
The purpose of the study was to compare efficacy and toxicity of olanzapine (OLN; a higher-cost drug) and haloperidol (HAL; a lower-cost drug) in the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and ...vomiting (CINV) in patients who receive highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC).
In a randomized, phase II trial, patients were randomly assigned to receive either OLN 10 mg orally on days 1 to 4 or HAL 1 mg orally on day 1 and 0.5 mg twice daily on days 2 to 4. Both groups received ondansetron 16 mg and dexamethasone 12 mg intravenously on day 1. Patients recorded their nausea using the Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale (ESAS) and recorded daily episodes of vomiting from day 1 to day 5. The primary end point was complete nausea prevention (CNP; ie, ESAS of 0). Secondary end point was complete emesis prevention (CEP).
Sixty-five patients were randomly assigned, and 64 received their allocated treatment (n = 32 in each arm). There was no difference in CNP during the overall period (days 1 to 5) between OLN and HAL (68.7%
71.8%;
= .78). In the acute period (day 1) and the delayed period (days 2 to 5), CNP was similar between OLN and HAL (acute: 84.3%
81.2%; delayed: 68.7%
75%). No difference was identified in the rate of CEP during the overall period (81.2% with OLN
78.1% with HAL;
= .75), during the acute period (93.7% with OLN
90.6% with HAL), or during the delayed period (84.3% with OLN
84.3% with HAL). No difference in toxicities was noted between treatment arms.
In this study, HAL had comparable efficacy to OLN in the management of CINV, which suggests that it is the higher-value option in patients who receive HEC in resource-scarce countries.
Frames in a separable quaternionic Hilbert space were introduced and studied in 17 to have more applications. In this paper, we extend the study of frames in quaternionic Hilbert spaces and introduce ...different types of duals of a frame in separable quaternionic Hilbert spaces. As an application, we give the orthogonal projection of \(\ell^2(\HH)\) onto the range of analysis operator of the given frame, in terms of elements of canonical dual frame and elements of the frame in quaternionic Hilbert space. Finally, we give an expression for the orthogonal projection in terms of operators related to the frame and its canonical dual frame in quaternionic Hilbert space.
