In-situ synthesis of a zeolite with encapsulated Pt was conducted to prepare a sulfur-resistant noble metal catalyst based on concepts of shape selectivity and hydrogen spillover. The prepared ...zeolite was of the sodalite type, in which the pore openings allow H(2) to enter the pores but not H2S. Chemisorption with H(2)/CO was conducted to verify the most of Pt atoms distribution in the cage of Pt/SOD prepared by hydrothermal method. The catalyst was tested for hydrogenation activity using light cycle oil with high contents of multi-ring aromatics and sulfur. The catalyst showed reasonable hydrogenation activity even at high levels of sulfur.
With the proliferation of cloud services, cloud-based image retrieval services enable large-scale image outsourcing and ubiquitous image searching. While enjoying the benefits of the cloud-based ...image retrieval services, critical privacy concerns may arise in such services since they may contain sensitive personal information. In this paper, we propose an efficient and Privacy-Preserving Image Retrieval scheme with Key Switching Technique (PPIRS). PPIRS utilizes the inner product encryption for measuring Euclidean distances between image feature vectors and query vectors in a privacy-preserving manner. Due to the high dimension of the image feature vectors and the large scale of the image databases, traditional secure Euclidean distance comparison methods provide insufficient search efficiency. To prune the search space of image retrieval, PPIRS tailors key switching technique (KST) for reducing the dimension of the encrypted image feature vectors and further achieves low communication overhead. Meanwhile, by introducing locality sensitive hashing (LSH), PPIRS builds efficient searchable indexes for image retrieval by organizing similar images into a bucket. Security analysis shows that the privacy of both outsourced images and queries are guaranteed. Extensive experiments on a real-world dataset demonstrate that PPIRS achieves efficient image retrieval in terms of computational cost.
Humans often interact with large language models (LLMs) in multi-turn interaction to obtain desired answers or more information. However, most existing studies overlook the multi-turn instruction ...following ability of LLMs, in terms of training dataset, training method, and evaluation benchmark. In this paper, we introduce Parrot, a solution aiming to enhance multi-turn instruction following for LLMs. First, we introduce an efficient but effective method for collecting multi-turn instructions that feature human-like queries, such as anaphora and ellipsis. Second, we propose a context-aware preference optimization strategy to further enhance LLMs for complex queries in multi-turn interaction. Moreover, to quantitatively evaluate LLMs in multi-turn instruction following, we manually build a multi-turn benchmark derived from existing ones. Extensive experiments show that Parrot improves current LLMs by up to 7.2% in multi-turn instruction following. Our dataset and codes will be open-sourced to facilitate future research.
Three new clerodane type diterpenoids (2–4), together with one known analogues (1), were isolated from the tuberous roots of Tinospora sagittata (Oliv.) Gagnep. Compound 3 is an unusual clerodane ...diterpenoid with the carbonyl functionality at C-3, which represents the first example from this diterpenoid compounds class. The structures were established on the basis of spectroscopic data interpretation. The absolute configuration of 1 was determined for the first time by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis with CuKα irradiation. These isolates were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against five human cancer cell lines and inhibitory activities on LPS-induced NO production in RAW264.7 cells.

Time Delay Neural Networks (TDNN)-based methods are widely used in dialect identification. However, in previous work with TDNN application, subtle variant is being neglected in different feature ...scales. To address this issue, we propose a new architecture, named dynamic multi-scale convolution, which consists of dynamic kernel convolution, local multi-scale learning, and global multi-scale pooling. Dynamic kernel convolution captures features between short-term and long-term context adaptively. Local multi-scale learning, which represents multi-scale features at a granular level, is able to increase the range of receptive fields for convolution operation. Besides, global multi-scale pooling is applied to aggregate features from different bottleneck layers in order to collect information from multiple aspects. The proposed architecture significantly outperforms state-of-the-art system on the AP20-OLR-dialect-task of oriental language recognition (OLR) challenge 2020, with the best average cost performance (Cavg) of 0.067 and the best equal error rate (EER) of 6.52%. Compared with the known best results, our method achieves 9% of Cavg and 45% of EER relative improvement, respectively. Furthermore, the parameters of proposed model are 91% fewer than the best known model.

Since busbar protection is the cornerstone of smart grid stability, a wireless sensor network (WSN) of distribution busbar protection is presented, and architecture of the WSN and busbar protection ...principles are proposed in this paper. The fault detection, analysis and judgment of WSN protection owns a unique feature but still has common characteristics with traditional protection scheme. Based on the traveling-wave generated in power system, when a fault occurs, a novel time synchronization scheme is employed to improve the protection performance and accuracy. Simulation results indicate that the scheme can acquire synchronization time and reduce the possibility of mis-operation of WSN based protection.
Storage assignment policy will directly affect the order-picking efficiency and logistics cost in an automated warehouse. Based on the traditional storage assignment policies which are focused on the ...storage frequency, we take workload balance into consideration and propose two new storage assignment policies for the automated warehouse. By analyzing and calculating, it is discovered that new storage assignment policy can effectively reduce roadway congestion, improve the warehouse workload balance and the operation efficiency.
