It is necessary to investigate the longitudinal tensile mechanical characteristics of the middle cerebral artery and the fetal umbilical vein prior to applying fetal umbilical vein transplantation ...for repair of injured middle cerebral artery. Fifteen fresh fetal umbilical vein specimens and 15 normal human fresh cadaver middle cerebral artery specimens were collected for longitudinal tensile testing at the speed of 0.5 mm/min and at normal human temperature. The results showed that under 16.0 kPa physiological stress, the strain value of fetal umbilical vein specimens was larger, while the maximal stress and elastic modulus values were less than those of middle cerebral artery specimens. Our findings indicate that fetal umbilical vein has good elastic properties and the stress-strain curve of the fetal umbilical vein is similar to that of the middle cerebral artery. Fetal umbilical vein transplantation can, therefore, potentially repair the injured middle cerebral artery.
Most of the current aerial images of UAVs are stitched together with the help of image post-processing software on the PC side, which has certain inconvenience. Based on the Android platform, the ...aerial images are transmitted back to the cell phone, and OpenCV is used to realize the fast-stitching and synthesis of the aerial images of UAVs. At the same time, considering the limitation of hardware image processing capability of mobile devices, the method is optimized and experimentally verified, and the results show that the image stitching effect on the mobile side meets the expectation.
We study the budget allocation problem in online marketing campaigns that utilize previously collected offline data. We first discuss the long-term effect of optimizing marketing budget allocation ...decisions in the offline setting. To overcome the challenge, we propose a novel game-theoretic offline value-based reinforcement learning method using mixed policies. The proposed method reduces the need to store infinitely many policies in previous methods to only constantly many policies, which achieves nearly optimal policy efficiency, making it practical and favorable for industrial usage. We further show that this method is guaranteed to converge to the optimal policy, which cannot be achieved by previous value-based reinforcement learning methods for marketing budget allocation. Our experiments on a large-scale marketing campaign with tens-of-millions users and more than one billion budget verify the theoretical results and show that the proposed method outperforms various baseline methods. The proposed method has been successfully deployed to serve all the traffic of this marketing campaign.
Influence of weld technology on reliability and life to cathode in vacuum tube was studied by requests of microwave tube. The quality of weld technology quite affects the emission capability of ...cathode. The mode of weld quite affects thermal efficiency of cathode in vacuum tube. Thermal efficiency of cathode can increase availably by changing the weld technology on the heat transfer path. Thermal analysis and optimization design of cathode module for vacuum tube was carried out with the FEM in order to obtain required cathode temperature with lower heat power. The weld mode quite affects the cathode heat power, for example, the cathode heat power can reduce 28.6% with 8+8 laser spot welding. We have also built the life test system of TWT's electron gun structure of 8+8 laser spot welding, using this life test system, up to 30 years life of cathode is forecasted.

Trade has been a key component in the successful story of East Asian development since the region embarked on its modernisation drive in the 1960s. Through trade and the associated export-oriented ...strategy and regional economic cooperation, the East Asian economies have been connected closely with each other in climbing up the ladder of development, led first by Japan, the newly industrialising economies (NIEs), and then ASEAN, China, Vietnam, India and other South Asian countries. As a result, within a half century, the East Asia as a whole has changed from a peripheral region to one of the most dynamic and
