Skip connections are fundamental units in encoder-decoder networks, which are able to improve the feature propagtion of the neural networks. However, most methods with skip connections just connected ...features with the same resolution in the encoder and the decoder, which ignored the information loss in the encoder with the layers going deeper. To leverage the information loss of the features in shallower layers of the encoder, we propose a full skip connection network (FSCN) for monocular depth estimation task. In addition, to fuse features within skip connections more closely, we present an adaptive concatenation module (ACM). Further more, we conduct extensive experiments on the ourdoor and indoor datasets (i.e., the KITTI dataste and the NYU Depth V2 dataset) for FSCN and FSCN gets the state-of-the-art results.
Large-scale energy storage can be used to solve the transient voltage problem caused by high penetration of renewable energy resources. Therefore, it is necessary to study the optimization method of ...the configuration scheme of energy storage devices. This paper investigates the transient voltage stability of a HVDC sending-end grid containing large-scale new energy sources. By optimizing the capacity configuration of energy storage, the transient voltage stability of the HVDC sending-end grid is significantly improved. Firstly, the over-voltage phenomenon in the actual grid is introduced and the causes of this phenomenon are analyzed. Then, the capacity and parameter optimization methods of energy storage are proposed, including the calculation of grid reactive-voltage index, and the iterative optimization method of capacity configuration driven by electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation. Finally, the correctness and feasibility of the proposed method are verified by using by using the EMT model of the actual grid.
The high-power electromagnetic (HPEM) environments pose dangerous threats to the electronic systems, especially the civilian infrastructures. So the system-level electromagnetic (EM) effects have ...abstracted more and more attentions. As an example, the susceptibility of the microcontroller system is investigated by the pulsed current injection (PCI). The setup and procedure of the testing are presented. The fault phenomena of the devices are observed embedded in, but not separated from, the system. The results show that the EM susceptibility of system is determined by both the system function and the components. It is possible for one element to experience three fault modes, the static, soft and hard. Besides the amplitude, the failure thresholds can vary with the pulse widths of the injected currents, and as the random values distribute in a certain range. These data are helpful for the quantification of the system-level EM susceptibility. The issues of the tests necessary to be studied further are pointed out finally.

Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the 5-30 minute clearing spot trading scheme in foreign mature electricity markets, this paper discusses the uniqueness of spot trading in China's 15 minute cycle. According to the time difference between dispatching center's online calculation and 15 minute trading cycle, a closed loop control method is put forward, which uses online artificial intelligence technology to do spot price forecasting, power grid security check and transaction mode design. It is suggested that the electricity trading center should announce the spot price forecast results to the market members in time, and encourage the members of the market to adjust the operation mode according to the price signal. Also, in the power generation side, according to the impact of electricity generation share in foreign power market on the spot market, this paper puts forward the share management method of regional power generation group adapting to China. At the same time, it advocates to supervise the market through encouraging and compatible financial means, and carries out the capital audit and credit evaluation to the market participants according to the share size, so as to serve the safety, low carbon and stable electricity market of our country.
