The CMD-3 detector is installed at the VEPP-2000
e
+
e
−
collider at BINP (Novosibirsk, Russia). It is a general-purpose detector, equipped with a tracking system, two crystal (CSI and BGO) ...calorimeters, liquid Xe calorimeter, TOF and muon systems. The main goal of experiments at CMD-3 is a study of exclusive modes of
e
+
e
−
→
hadrons
at energies $ \sqrt s \le $ GeV. In particular, these results provide an important input for calculation of the hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment.
The first round of data taking was performed in 2011–2013, when about 60 1/pb were taken in the center-of-mass (c.m.) energy range from 0.32 to 2.0 GeV. Here we present a survey of results of data analysis.
Between 2013 and 2016 the collider and the detector were upgraded. The data taking resumed by the end of 2016. In the first run after the upgrade about 50 1/pb were collected at the energy range between 1.28 and 2.007 GeV. We discuss the upgrade and the first preliminary results from the new data.
Using the inclusive photon spectrum based on a data sample collected at the J/ψ peak with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e+e− collider, we measured the rate of the radiative decay J/ψ→γηc as well ...as ηc mass and width. Taking into account an asymmetric photon lineshape we obtained Γγηc0=2.98±0.18−0.33+0.15keV, Mηc=2983.5±1.4−3.6+1.6MeV/c2, Γηc=27.2±3.1−2.6+5.4MeV.

The KEDR detector is a universal magnetic detector designed for studying the
c
- and
b
-quarks and two-photon physics, and is employed at the VEPP-4M
e
+
e
−
collider. A specific feature of the ...experiment is the measurement of absolute beam energy using two methods: the resonant depolarization and the faster but less precise Compton backscattering of laser photons. This allowed a large series of measurements to be performed, in which the accuracy of determination of such fundamental parameters of particles as mass and total and leptonic widths was improved.
Abstract Using the 1.32 $$\hbox {pb}^{-1}$$ pb - 1 statistics collected at the $$J/\psi $$ J / ψ peak with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M $$e^{+}e^{-\, }$$ e + e - collider, we measured the ...branching fractions of $$J/\psi $$ J / ψ meson decays to the final states 2( $$\pi ^{+}\pi ^{-})\pi ^{0}$$ π + π - ) π 0 , $$K^{+}K^{-}\pi ^{+}\pi ^{-}\pi ^{0}$$ K + K - π + π - π 0 , 2( $$\pi ^{+}\pi ^{-})$$ π + π - ) and $$K^{+}K^{-}\pi ^{+}\pi ^{-}$$ K + K - π + π - . The results obtained for the decays $$J/\psi \rightarrow $$ J / ψ → 2( $$\pi ^{+}\pi ^{-})\pi ^{0}$$ π + π - ) π 0 , $$J/\psi \rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}\pi ^{+}\pi ^{-}\pi ^{0}$$ J / ψ → K + K - π + π - π 0 contradict the measurements performed by other groups in the last century, but agree well with recent results of BABAR and BESIII collaborations.
This paper reports measurements of the hadronic cross sections with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider. The overall size of the data sample analyzed is about 60 pb-1, ...collected by the CMD- 3 running since December 2010 up to June 2013 in the c.m. energy range from 0.32 to 2.0 GeV. The preliminary results of data analysis for various modes of e+e−→hadrons are discussed.

The Novosibirsk group is participating in the development of LHCb RICH as well as a beam diagnostics for a photo-injector test facility at DESY–Zeuthen. Recently we started development of RICH based on focusing aerogel (FARICH) for the endcap of the SuperBaBar. For the first time in the world the focusing aerogel with layers of different refractive indices has been produced.
