Program kemitraan masyarakat mempunyai sasaran masyarakat yang berada di RW 049 Pogung Kidul Sinduadi Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. Mitra yang terlibat merupakan kelompok pemuda dan pemudi RW 049 Pogung ...Kidul. Lokasi mitra pada program pengabdian masyarakat ini berdampingan langsung dengan sebuah kampus sehingga lokasi tersebut terdapat rumah atau kamar yang dikontrakan untuk dihuni oleh mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar daerah tersebut. Mitra mempunyai website yang digunakan sebagai sistem infomasi antara penduduk dengan mahasiswa yang tinggal di daerah tersebut. Website yang sudah dibuat oleh kelompok kelompok pemuda dan pemudi Pogung Kidul RW 049 dirasa masih belum bisa mengatasi masalah yang terjadi di daerah tersebut. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan adanya mahasiswa baru yang masih mencari tempat singgah dengan cara bertanya dari rumah ke rumah. Website yang sudah ada di padukuhan tersebut masih perlu ditambah beberapa fasilitas sistem informasi yang lain. Peningkatan kualitas dengan cara cross-platform akan menambah pilihan pengguna dalam memilih aplikasi yang akan dipakai. Pelaksanaan pembauatan aplikasi croos-platform tersebut dimulai dengan tahap observasi masalah kemudian pembuatan aplikasi tersebut sehingga masalah yang ada di daerah mitra dapat teratasi. Peningkatan keberdayaan mitra sesuai permasalahan yang dihadapi berupa kemampuan mitra membuat dan mengelola aplikasi smartphone sehingga transfer informasi di daerah mitra antara penduduk dan mahasiswa yang singgah di daerah tersebut dapat berjalan lancar.
Titanium alloys, due to their biocompatibility and low stiffness, are among the most studied of metallic implant materials. Whereas most titanium-based biomaterials are produced from pre-alloyed ...powders, in this work the authors have utilised elemental powder to manufacture porous Ti-Nb-Ta-Zr alloys using a powder metallurgy technique based on the pressurised gas-induced expansion of pores. Samples of porous Ti-Nb-Ta-Zr alloy were prepared from a blend of elemental powders sealed into steel cans under a pressurised argon atmosphere. Following this, the pressurised cans were densified by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) at 1100 °C and 100 MPa for 4 hours, with cubic specimens from each can being treated in a vacuum furnace (1100,1225,1350 °C) for 10 hours in order to allow the pressurised pores to expand due to creep of the surrounding metal (foaming). Following this, the phase composition of HIP and foamed samples was characterised by x-ray diffraction (XRD), while microstructure and pore morphology were examined using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Following HIP, XRD indicated the suppression of peaks related to α-Ti while microstructural analysis revealed the particle boundaries to have become diffuse due to the partial dissolution of Nb and Ta, with initial porosity levels being generally less than 3 %. Increasing the foaming temperature led to increases in porosity and proportion of α-Ti phase with a resulting decrease in elastic stiffness. These porous materials were concluded to be an attractive candidate for low stiffness biocompatible implant materials.
The electrochemical machining has been developed as an alternative for conventional techniques of machining very hard materials and complex shape without any harm to tool and residual stresses. This ...paper addresses the influence of processing parameters on the overcut (OC) and Material Removal Rate (MRR) of a custome-built electrochemical machine. In addition, the angle of overcut for the workpieces were also examined. Stainless steel and aluminium plate with thickness of 0.4 mm as workpieces were machined using ECM equiped with a 3-mm isolated brass rod as electrode in sodium chloride as electrolityc solution. Experiments were conducted with the developed setup by varying the machining voltage and initial workpiece-to-electrode gap with a constant tool movement. MRR in ECM was obtained from weight loss measurement while image analysis using open source sofware (ImageJ) was applied to assist OC determination. The result shows that increase in machining voltage and gap enhances ion's mobility and conductivity for conduction, so that it results MRR, overcut and angle of overcut getting higher.
Procurement activities of raw materials is one of the vital activity for the company. PT Solo Grafika Utama is one of the companies that rely heavily on this procurement activity for a smooth ...production. Until now PT Solo Grafika Utama has been working with several suppliers in the procurement of raw materials production. However, in practice, these activities often experience problems such late delivery by suppliers for various things. As a result of delays in the procurement materials makes the production process is hampered or delayed, so the time that required for production process exceeded the production schedule planning that has been set before. This resulted in the delivery of products to consumers experienced delays and it makes them are not satisfied with the performance of the company. Therefore we need an analysis to determine the factors that cause the delay. Once the cause is known, we need a follow-up analysis in order for the supplier selection decision making process of PT Solo Grafika Utama using ANP method. Supplier selection decision-making process of the raw materials in PT. Solo Grafika Utama involves many criteria and sub-criteria assessment which is then compared and processed to obtain the supplier with the highest value and become preferred suppliers for the company.
Here, we study an Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model with temporary price discount, defective items and limited warehouse capacity. We intend to investigate a situation in retailer system in which ...the supplier offers a temporary discount. The retailer's ware house capacity is limited then there ia an opportunity to rent additional warehause. We also consider a condition where lot of product transfer from supplier to buyer contains some defective products. The model is developed to help the retailer to decide whether to adopt a special or reguler replenishment policy during a temporary sales period. This model provides an optimal solution by maximizing the total inventory cost savings. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the application of the model.
