V prispevku raziskujeva vprašanja, povezana z zdravstvenim stanjem in smrtnostjo otrok v Emoni. V ospredje postavljava diskrepanco med ocenjeno visoko smrtnostjo otrok v rimskem času in relativno ...nizkim odstotkom doslej odkritih otroških grobov v Emoni. Rezultati analiz kremiranih ostankov iz nekaterih zgodnjerimskih emonskih grobov kažejo, da je bila v posamezen grob včasih pokopana več kot ena oseba, pogosto skupaj odrasli in otrok. V prispevku se sprašujeva, ali so to doslej neodkriti pokopi emonskih otrok, in iščeva tudi druge možne razlage. Poleg tega podajava nekaj informacij o zdravstvenem stanju emonskih otrok na osnovi doslej pregledanega gradiva.
The second volume of the popular science edition “Munice” leads us into the labyrinth of a philosophical questioning about TIME. Led by the thoughts of a number of great philosophers, from Aristotle ...to Prigogin, we reach eventually the inevitable intersection: time is either the most important element in the universe, or it does not exist at all. The author of the book, Professor Josef Krob, works at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, and he has a long-term interest in the issues of time, space and meaning. Once again, his text is interwoven with the distinctive illustrations of Nikola Kalinová.
The author analyses the metaphorical verbo-nominal constructions stráca as (waste time) and zabíja as (kill time) in Slovak and Slavic languages. By pointing out the existence of their equivalents in ...other European languages used in the close area (Hungarian, German, Romanian, Italian), they conclude that the constructions are not exclusively bound to the Slavic environment and call them arealisms. They also examine this structural-semantic model from the aspect of phraseological theory and lexicographical practice, finding out that the lexicographical characteristics of the phrases stráca as (waste time) and zabíja as (kill time) in the dictionaries of the various Slavic languages are not identical. The essence of the phenomenon of time in general is also approached through the views of ancient philosophers and Christian scholars.
Značilnosti preteklika spiškega narečnega glagola być ‘biti’ na osnovi korpusnih podatkov Prispevek obravnava kategorijo preteklega časa glagola być ‘biti’ v spiškem narečju. Izsledki izhajajo iz ...gradiva za Spiški narečni korpus. Glagolska spregatev je v narečju drugačna kot v splošni poljščini. Ohranile so se arhaične oblike tipa byłech, jech był, my byli. Navedeni so podatki o številu pojavitev vseh oblik v korpusu. Izbrani primeri so prikazani v širšem kontekstu, skupaj z metapodatki. Predstavljene so tudi možnosti uporabe elektronskega korpusa za morfološke in sociolingvistične raziskave.
Článek popisuje využití multilateračních systémů pro zvýšení bezpečnosti a kapacity v letecké dopravy. Práce zahrnuje popis principu činnosti multilateračních systémů v závislosti na časových ...architekturách. Závěr práce je věnován WAM systémům.
Prispevek obravnava mesto v nočnem času. Posebnost obravnavane tematike je časovna razsežnost prostora ter območja – kraji, ki »živijo« ponoči. Noč ima ekonomsko, kulturno, oblikovno in socialno ...vsebino in prav te lastnosti določajo spoznavanje mesta v nočnem času. Izpostavljene so naslednje teme: kraji potrošnje, kraji dela, kraji zabave, kraji nočne podobe mesta ter kraji družbeno nesprejemljivega, delikventnega vedenja. Empirični del se nanaša na mesto Maribor.
Studium hodnotových orientací člověka, jeho životních postojů a preferencí je jednou z nejsložitějších a nejkomplexnějších oblastí, na kterou se lze ve společenskovědním výzkumu zaměřit. Situace je ...ještě komplikovanější v případě, kdy se cílovou skupinou stávají právě děti a mladí lidé, jejichž osobnost se stále dynamicky vyvíjí a podléhá mnoha vnějším tlakům a vlivům a zároveň také vnitřním biologickým zákonitostem. Studium této problematiky také ztěžuje nejednotné vymezení základních pojmů a velké množství definic a teorií, které jsou s touto oblastí spojeny. Ve výzkumu Hodnotové orientace dětí ve věku 6 – 15 let jsme se zaměřili na hlavní socializační činitele v životě dětí, které ve výzkumu nazýváme „klíčoví hráči“. Zařadili jsme mezi ně rodinu, školu, způsoby trávení volného času a zaměřili jsme se na to, jaký vztah děti k nim mají, jaké preference jim přidělují a jak který z nich život dětí ovlivňuje. V příspěvku jsou prezentována vybraná dílčí zjištění týkající se priorit a hodnotových orientací dnešních dětí v souvislosti se způsoby trávení volného času a socioekonomickými ukazateli.
The book contributes new insights to the research in the field of anthropology of (post)socialism, culture of consumption, gender and memory. It is based on the testimony of interlocutors who offer ...an insight into the “structure of the feeling” of the socialist era through the practice of consumption, from which on the one hand the complex economic and political dynamics and diverse disciplinary regimes are being reflected and the understanding of power, resistance and emancipation on the other. Author establishes critical distance towards the approach, which discusses socialism as a totalitarianism and shows that socialist policies were not simply dictated from above, but negotiated between the state and its citizens. The female consumer in socialism did not only respond to social barriers and obstacles of history, but she also actively co-created social time. By studying how consumers interpreted and created mutual connections between material objects, moral reputation and (self)respect, the book also shows certain specific elements of Slovenian and Yugoslav development of the European countries after the Second World War.
The purpose of the research was to analyse the injuries of primary school children in the framework of organised sports activities at school and in clubs or associations, and in leisure time without ...professional guidance.
We surveyed 631 participants, of which there were 282 boys and 349 girls from eight Slovenian primary schools. Frequencies were calculated and a Chi-square test was performed.
In physical education (PE) at school, 32% of the participants were injured in one school year, and there were no statistically significant differences in the number of injuries according to sex (p=0.18) and age (p=0.12). Most injuries were recorded in the lower extremities (50%), in the form of wounds. The participants were injured less often in PE at school than in a club or association, and more often than in their leisure time. The participants were absent from PE classes for longer after an injury in a club or association than in PE, while no significant differences in absences after injury were found. At school, the participants were most often injured in ball games, boys in football (43%) and girls in volleyball (19%). In activities in a club or association, we recorded the most injuries in boys in martial arts (18%) and dance for girls (19%). In their leisure time, boys suffered the most injuries from football (26%) and cycling, while girls suffered the most from running and rollerblading.
In the last ten years, the number of injuries in PE has increased in Slovenia. Based on the obtained results, we propose measures to reduce injuries and thus encourage more sports activities among children and adolescents, while ensuring their safety.
