No

The average scores of men were found to be higher than those of women in the sub-dimensions of transformational and charismatic leadership (p<0.05). It was concluded that the students studying at the Faculty of Sport Sciences had higher leadership qualities, with men having better leadership qualities.
Walking and running are natural way of human motion. Today running is effective aerobic exercise to maintain vital human functions, mostly cardiovascular and breathing functions. Modern human’s lack ...of movement results in numerous health problems and generally reduce the quality of his life. The impact of regular physical exercise on the body is proven beyond any doubt; but we can also see the growing negative effects of physical exercise, which are typically a result of the unadjusted and to demanding exercise programs. Walking and running are human’s the most effective and health activities, but running can have large load on joints, bones, tendons, ligaments and muscular system. The negative effects of physical exercise are manifested in the form of overload which often leads to injuries. Running injuries and their development takes place at the beginning relatively unnoticed, obvious symptoms with pronounce consequences for the runner occur relatively late. Identifying overload factors of the human can help runners and all other athletes who run in their sport disciplines; it is a huge challenge for sports science. Correct and in time answers on overload can have important contribution to a more humane and safe practice.
The aim of this study was to investigate the academic motivations of students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and their image perceptions of their schools according to some variables. Quantitative ...research method was used in the study. The population of the study consisted of 850 students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of a state university in Ankara and 343 students selected by convenience sampling method from this universe. Five-point Likert-type rating scale was used for Institutional Image Scale and seven for Academic Motivation Scale. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was examined for the reliability of the data, and .92 for institutional image perception and .88 for academic motivation data. Since the data were normally distributed, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, t-test for binary groups, One-Way ANOVA for more than two groups were used from parametric tests. Tukey HSD test was used to test the difference between the groups. According to analyze results there was a moderate positive and significant relationship between institutional image perception and academic motivation. According to the classes, there was a difference between the views on academic environment, physical environment, social environment and institutional image. There was no difference between academic motivation levels of students according to class and gender variables. In the amotivation sub-dimension, the level of female students was lower than male students. It was found that first year students had lower levels of motivation than female students compared to fourth year students.
The delivery of clinical services and the organisation and teaching of Sport and Exercise Medicine in the UK were developed in concept as long ago as 1912. It accelerated, particularly over the last ...36 years, until the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine of the Royal Medical Colleges of the United Kingdom was established at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. From the concept of a hobby for doctors interested in sport to its coming of age as a medical speciality Sports Medicine has a long and fragmented history. This is well documented in Volume 36 of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine entitled 'The Development of Sports Medicine in Twentieth-century Britain'. This short paper describes the role played by the key organisations in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the United Kingdom during the late 20th century and the early part of the 21st century.
