Iz Katekizma Katoličke Crkve i teološke literature proizlazi da su sakramenti ‘žarišne točke› Božjeg djelovanja u Crkvi i ostvarenje njezinog spasenjskog poslanja evidentnog u životu i djelovanju ...suvremenog vjeroučitelja. U prvom dijelu znanstvenog rada predstavljen je službeni nauk Crkve te teološka promišljanja relevantnih autora o sakramentima, posebice pomirenja, euharistije i ženidbe, kojima su vjeroučitelji pridavali većinsku pozornost u kvalitativnom istraživanju. Njihova interpretacija oslanja se na neke uporišne točke suvremene kršćanske sakramentologije, što je predmet drugog dijela znanstvenog diskursa, koji u središte promišljanja stavlja konkretna poimanja i očitovanja vjeroučiteljeve sakramentalne duhovnosti dobivene kvalitativnim istraživanjem, metodom napola strukturiranog ili dubinskog intervjua, u čemu se ujedno očituje i novost ovoga rada. Intervjuirani vjeroučitelji potvrđuju važnost teorijskih promišljanja o sakramentima, no ipak prednost daju konkretnom svjedočkom življenju usvojenih sadržaja i njihovu prenošenju na vjeroučenike.
It follows from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the theological literature that the sacraments are the 'focal point' of God's action in the Church and the realization of her saving mission evident in the life and work of the modern religious teacher. The first part of the scientific paper presents the official teaching of the Church and the theological reflections of relevant authors on the sacraments, especially reconciliation, Eucharist and marriage, to which religious teachers paid most attention in qualitative research. Their interpretation relies on some strong points of contemporary Christian sacramentology, which is the subject of the second part of the scientific discourse, which puts at the center of reflection concrete notions and manifestations of the sacramental spirituality obtained by qualitative research, the method of semi-structured or in-depth interview. The interviewed religious teachers confirm the importance of theoretical reflections on the sacraments; however, they still give priority to the concrete witnessing of the adopted contents and transmission to the religious students.
Die Studie unternimmt aus systematisch-theologischer Perspektive eine Hermeneutik von „LAbandon à la Providence divine“, einem in der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts in Frankreich entstandenen ...schmalformatigen Werk, das bis in die Gegenwart hinein bedeutende Denker inspiriert. Vor dem Hintergrund der Kriteriologie eines geistlichen Klassikers wird im ersten Kapitel zunächst eingeholt, dass es gut begründet ist, „LAbandon à la Providence divine“ als einen Klassiker der Spiritualitätsgeschichte anzusehen. Zugleich legt dieses Kapitel insofern den Grund für den weiteren Gang, als es methodisch zu klären versucht, welche Richtung eine Hermeneutik eines geistlichen Klassikers auf der Höhe der Zeit einzuschlagen hat. Weil dazu zentral die Beachtung des Zeitindexes jeder Spiritualität gehört, erkundet das zweite Kapitel den ursprünglichen Sitz im Leben in der Epoche, für die der Traité responsiv einen kairologischen Stil des Christseins entwickelt. Damit ist der Boden be-reitet, im dritten Kapitel in einer aufmerksamen Lektüre des Textes die theologieimprägnierten Schlüsselthemen zu heben: vor allem Vorsehung, Hingabe , Sakrament des gegenwärtigen Augenblicks und damit verbunden jene Gedanken, die sich sekundierend um diese Schlüsselbegriffe herum gruppieren. Zugleich will das Kapitel dabei dem Mangel abhelfen, dass es bis in die Gegenwart hinein wenige kritische Studien zur Theologie des Traité gibt. Indem das zweite und dritte Kapitel sich auf die innere Gestalt und den inneren Klang und damit die Atmosphäre des Buches einlassen, ist der Weg geöffnet für eine hermeneutische Übersetzung ins Heute, der sich die beiden finalen Kapitel widmen. Kapitel vier befragt, die Schlüsselthemen betreffend, zeitdiagnostisch den Gegenwartshorizont und überbrückt zugleich den „garstigen Graben“, der vom Ursprungshorizont trennt, indem er Entwicklungslinien nachzeichnet. Das fünfte Kapitel schließlich unternimmt den Versuch, mit dem Traité weiterdenkend und seine Atmosphäre nachbildend kairologisch eine Alltagsmystik und damit einen Stil des Christseins für die Gegenwart theologisch zu begründen und zu entwickeln.
W artykule postawiono pytanie w jaki sposób Kościół może odpowiedzieć na wyzwanie sekularyzacji i przeciwstawić się jej skutkom? Przyjęto równocześnie założenie, że sekularyzacja nie jest zjawiskiem ...nieuchronnym, któremu należy poddać się poprzez przystosowanie do obecnej sytuacji, ale można wypracować właściwą odpowiedź na to zjawisko. Najbardziej odpowiedną reakcją jest priorytetowe potraktowania duszpasterstwa małżeństwa i rodziny. W tym celu, poprzez analizę nauczania Kościoła i opracowań teologicznych, ukazany został ich potencjał, wyrażający się przede wszystkim w sakramencie małżeństwa oraz fenomenie Kościoła domowego. Strategia Kościoła wobec procesów sekularyzacji winna być skoncentrowana na odkrywaniu bogactwa sakramentu małżeństwa oraz wspieraniu rodzin w niełatwym procesie stawania się Kościołem domowym. Inne działania duszpasterskie Kościoła powinny być dostosowane i skoncentrowane na tej strategii, gdyż wzmacniając rodzinę jako Kościół domowy same zyskują większą skuteczność.

In September of 2014 thirty new members were appointed for a
five-year term to the Vatican's International Theological
Commission. These theologians, clerical and lay, were chosen from
twenty-six ...different countries and from five continents. The
commission was charged with composing three documents of
contemporary theological importance, one of which was that of the
relationship between faith and the sacraments. This finished
document was published, with the approval of the Congregation for
the Doctrine of the Faith and by Pope Francis in Spanish in early
2020 under the title: La Reciprocidad entre Fe y Sacramentos en
la Economía Sacramental . A subsequent English translation was
published thereafter under the title The Reciprocity Between
Faith and Sacraments in the Sacramental Economy . This present
volume contains the text of the English translation. There follows
an introduction by a member of the ITC, Thomas G. Weinandy, OFM,
Cap., and subsequently followed by six explanatory and interpretive
commentaries on various chapters of the document. Dr. John Yocum
considers the contemporary relevance of the topic. Dr. Christopher
Ruddy examines the dialogical nature of the sacramental economy of
salvation. Dr. Jennifer Holmes Martin discusses the relationship
between faith and the sacraments of initiation. There are two
commentaries for section four concerning faith and the sacrament of
marriage. Professor John Grabowski treats the strictly theological
issues relating to faith and marriage. Canonist Timothy Cavanaugh
takes up the canonical issues regarding faith and its relationship
to enacting a valid sacramental marriage. Dr. Daniel Keating rounds
off the commentaries by surveying the conclusion of the document,
that is, the present need for evangelization so as to enliven the
faith of the faithful, and the present relevance of the new
ecclesial movements within the Church today. These commentaries are
aimed at aiding priests and seminarians as they address or prepare
to address the pastoral and theological concerns they encounter or
will encounter on a daily basis. This volume could also be used in
parish adult education groups as well, wherein the laity could
better understand the relationship between faith and the
sacraments.
Današnji govor o braku i bračnom životu nije više toliko jednostavan koliko je možda bio prije otprilike pedesetak godina. Naime, danas sve više do izražaja dolaze drukčiji oblici zajedničkog života: ...izvanbračni život, odnosno brak bez vjenčanja, život prije braka, brak na probu i slobodni oblici ljubavi. Ti »novonastali« i sve zastupljeniji oblici zajedničkog suživota, koji postaju sve privlačniji i prihvaćeni, pobuđuju zanimanje društva, a napose Crkve, koja pred društvenom zajednicom stoji kao sakrament najtješnjeg sjedinjenja s Bogom nastojeći izvršiti svoje poslanje u svijetu – spasenje ljudi. Odmak društva od tradicionalnog oblika razumijevanja braka za Crkvu nije prirodni tijek nego duhovno-moralno zastranjenje prouzročeno odmakom od Boga. Stoga je ovo istraživanje na kojem je sudjelovalo 1688 zaručnika iz Zagrebačke nadbiskupije pokazalo kako unatoč tradicionalnom pogledu na brak ipak praktično postoji realna briga koja potiče Crkvu na daljnje kritičko promišljanje pastoralnog pristupa pripremi za sakrament ženidbe. U tom smislu članak predstavlja istraživanje stavova, pogleda i odnosa zaručnika prema braku i zahtjevima braka. U radu ćemo prikazati koliko je tradicionalan pogled na brak u Crkvi utjecao, ili nije utjecao, na današnje zaručnike, te koliko se oni slažu s naukom Crkve o braku kao božanskom pravu.
Today, the discourse on marriage and marital life is no longer as straightforward as it may have been about 50 years ago. Namely, different forms of cohabitation have been increasingly coming to the forefront: extramarital cohabitation, or living together without getting married, premarital cohabitation, trial marriages, and other various forms of free love. These »emerging« and increasingly prevalent forms of cohabitation have been becoming more attractive and accepted, arousing the interest of society, and particularly the Church, which stands before the community as a sacrament of the closest union with God, seeking to fulfil her mission in the world – the salvation of people. This departure from the traditional form of marriage is not a natural course of action for the Church, but rather a spiritual and moral concern caused by a departure from God. Therefore, even this research, in which 1688 engaged couples from the Archdiocese of Zagreb took part, showed that despite the traditional view of marriage, there is still a practical concern that encourages the Church to further reflect critically on her pastoral approach to marriage preparation. Thus, the article presents a research of attitudes, views and relation of engaged couples toward marriage and requirements of marriage. At the same time, the authors attempt to present how the traditional vision of marriage in the Church as divine right affect, or fail to affect, engaged couples, and how much they agree with or accept the reality that marriage is above all a divine right.
This article discusses the results of a research project on the relationship between statistically significant church growth in four selected Church of Norway parishes and the practice of baptism in ...their Sunday service. While the frequency of baptisms may have increased overall attendance at Sunday worship, parishioners at times regret the impact of Sunday service baptism on the ordinary life and development of the congregation. Through the theological eyes of a newcomer to the Church of Norway, this article problematizes the concept of church growth and explores the theological tension between baptism and Eucharist in the life of the church. The overall argument is that it makes little sense to celebrate the sacrament of baptism while not being prepared to engage in a life-long journey with God and fellow disciples of Jesus Christ. Separate and public baptismal services in the church will make it possible to concentrate more fully on the sacramental nature, performance and vocational challenge of baptism – not only for the person being baptised, but for the parish as a whole.
