This study aims to portray the strategy and design of marine tourism development through a data visualization approach using Google SketchUp and Lumion. The type of research conducted is Research and ...Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The findings of this study reveal that the miniature design of Pulau Sembilan on Larea-rea Island incorporates local cultural themes in the construction of Rulan (Nine House), with a visualization of the roof following the design of the traditional Karampuang house. Additionally, the researcher presents designs concerning the jetties of Larea-rea Island and the product facility designs. Ultimately, contributes to development of Rulan (Nine House) and the efficient land utilization contributes to the region's income enhancement in the tourism sector of Larea-rea Island. It is recommended that future research on marine tourism development should involve a more comprehensive analytical framework that considers social, economic, and environmental aspects. This will help in understanding the overall impacts of marine tourism development. It is also important to investigate the ecological impacts of tourism and come up with effective mitigation strategies to prevent harm to the marine environment. Another interesting research area is to integrate the perspectives of local communities and their participation in the planning and implementation of tourism development. This will ensure the sustainability of such projects and gain community acceptance.
To mitigate the hazards of fragments during a runaway reaction explosion or a boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion (BLEVE), an accurate estimate of the maximum kinetic energy of the fragments and ...the trajectory is critical. On June 13, 2020, an LPG tanker truck slanted over and exploded on the highway interchange at Wenling, Zhejiang Province, China. A BLEVE occurred initially, with the cylindrical vessel rupturing into one end-cap and one rocket-like vessel. The 12-ton rocket-like projectile was thrown 364 m away, resulting in an LPG vapor cloud larger than 300 m, followed by several explosions ultimately. It provided a good opportunity to study the ‘rocket’ BLEVE process and to evaluate the potential trajectory model. Image analysis technique and 3D modeling using SketchUp were employed to reconstruct the spatial and temporal information in the accident, by comparing the Sketchup model with the accident video information processed by MATLAB. An accurate trajectory of the fragment was reconstructed, giving the projectile velocity to be 170–176 m/s and the averaged trajectory angle around 8°. The BLEVE process was further modeled using a two-phase flow discharge model together with a rocket propulsion model, and the predicted results fit well with those as estimated by the reconstructed model. The trajectory of the fragment was also modeled using the projectile velocity and trajectory angle, together with discussion on the effects of air drag resistance, which provided a good prediction and fit well with the trajectory in the SketchUp model.

The main factor for the success of the implementation of education in schools is the infrastructure in the form of completeness of facilities that become the benchmark in all learning activities. To ...produce students who have comprehensive knowledge must be supported by facilities and skilled teaching staff. Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Mrisi still needs attention in terms of educational infrastructure facilities that are still lacking with a relatively small number of students. The purpose of this community service is to redesign the buildings, rooms, and the design of school facilities. The initial method used is a survey by measuring and calculating the area of buildings, columns, beams and assessing the existing physical condition and then developing it according to the available land, then it will be simulated using SAP 2000 software, 3D drawings using SketchUp, and calculating the budget plan. The result of the design is a two-level school building with larger beam and column sizes as well as a sturdy and earthquake-resistant structure. Furthermore, several redesigns of facilities such as warehouses, prayer rooms, and first-level classrooms, toilets, canteens, became cleaner and more attractive. The second level is designed for additional classrooms, halls, laboratories, libraries. Other supporting facilities in the form of guard posts, gates, parking lots become more attractive. With a planned budget of Rp 6,226,839,700. -, the school can raise funds to develop school facilities in accordance with the designs that have been made and mutually agreed upon.

In this post-Covid-19 pandemic, the existence of a space that is connected to outside air circulation is a necessity. This is because good air circulation can reduce the potential for the ...spread of Covid-19 indoors. One of the challenges in implementing natural ventilation is the entry of excess solar heat into the building. One strategy that can be done to avoid the entry of excess solar heat is to use shadows to filter sunlight. This study examined the appropriate shading strategy that can be applied to overcome the problem of excessive solar heat in the ventilation section of office buildings in Jakarta. The research will be conducted using an experimental method, Sketchup’s Pre-Design simulation. The simulation results show that Eggcrate and Automated Blinds shading are two types that can reduce harmful solar heat entering the building the highest compared to other types of shading.

Among panel heating systems (PHS), floor heating (FH) is mostly used in Serbia because it offers special benefits in terms of thermal comfort and final energy consumption. Uniform temperature distribution in the hanging room, low temperature mode, fairly simple way of installation and maintenance, long service life, simple ambient temperature control and currently low price of electricity in Serbia, is the reason for the increasing use of electric heating cables (EHC) in PHS. In addition to a number of advantages, when using floor heating panels (FHP), it must be taken into account that the maximum temperature of the available free floor surface does not exceed the recommended limits because it has a negative impact on thermal comfort in the room and negatively affects the health of users.
In this paper, the subject of experimental and numerical research is a low-temperature electric floor heating panel (LTEFHP) in specific conditions. In the experimental part of the paper, a two-storey test house (TH) was used, with dimensions of one floor, ie. thermal zones 1 000 × 800 × 650 mm, within which a pre-prepared physically prepared electric heating panel (EHP) is implemented as an active heating system. In order to test the test houses and the mentioned heating system under stationary conditions, a test chamber (TC) with dimensions 1 500 × 1 500 × 1 800 mm was used, in which the following three scenarios were simulated (when the mean air temperature inside the test chamber: tTC = -5°C, tTC = 0 °C and tTC = 4.5 °C). The same experimental installation (for the same simulation scenarios) was tested numerically in the second part of the paper, first in the EnergyPlus software, and then in the Ansys Workbench software. The main goal of this paper is to use different methods and tools to show the appropriate temperature fields in the characteristic layers of the examined geometric structure.
