With the rapid increase of market competition pressure, enterprises’ collaborative innovation plays a more prominent role in competitive advantage. This paper aims to explore how the ...enterprise–science community can achieve sustainable collaborative value co-creation. Taking the Maoduoli Group as a sample, using the single case study method and grounded theory, a structural model of the enterprise–science community collaborative value co-creation mechanism is constructed. The proposed model is based on the value logic of “advocating value—creating value—delivering value—acquiring value”, which explains how the enterprise–scientific community collaborative value co-creation model is formed, how it is implemented, how it is delivered to customers, and the overall process of jointly harvesting value at last. The findings are as follows: First, government support, market demand, and entrepreneurial spirit are the internal and external factors for the enterprise–science community to develop collaborative value co-creation; secondly, the synergy mechanism of the enterprise–science community is to realize mutual activities such as joint research and development, a joint publication of papers, sharing of research results, joint research and development activities, and joint teaching practice through means of capital investment, concept support, and technical support. Third, the synergy mechanism of the enterprise–science community can realize the value of the economic and scientific research and the ecological and social benefits (narrow sense), and continuously feed back to further promote a deeper level of collaborative value co-creation of the enterprise–science community. This paper introduces the dimension of the scientific community, forms a special construct, and focuses on the collaborative value co-creation model of the enterprise–scientific community, which fills the gap in this research direction, and also provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the collaborative value co-creation model of the enterprise–scientific community.
Legundi Island, located in Lampung Bay, Indonesia, has high solar energy potential but still relies on Diesel Power Plants. This research aims to design a hybrid Solar Power Plant and Diesel Power ...plant system that is environmentally friendly and reliable. Analysis was conducted using the Homer software.
•This research designs a hybrid Solar Power Plant system with a capacity of 170.2 kWp and a battery of 1,036 kWh, integrated with three existing Diesel Power Plants units with a capacity of 200 kW.•This system can generate electricity of 296,391 kWh/year with a renewable energy fraction reaching 79.9% and an electricity surplus of 0.988%.•Fuel consumption decreased by 79.3% compared to the existing Diesel Power Plant system.

The contemporary consumer market determines the use of mass customisation by manufacturers. Therefore, from the point of view of Industry 4.0 (I4.0), concept data and communications and analytics are ...relevant to the implementation of the mass-customisation strategy. The problem involves at least three subjects: how to connect the currently available information system within an enterprise with new I4.0 technologies, how new information solutions can support the verification of the feasibility of tailoring an order to the needs of the customer, and, finally, how to model a knowledge base for a cyber-physical system containing a formal record of the knowledge acquired regarding customer preferences. Therefore, in this paper, we developed a new algorithm that will enable, on one hand, the collection and recording of customer preferences, and, on the other hand, the integration of those data and information that are available within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The main contribution of this work is the use of specialist knowledge and data from ERP regarding production capabilities implemented in a manufacturing enterprise in order to model the scenario of generating possible orders for a client, and finally applying the new solution for the operation of manufacturing according to mass-customisation strategy in a real company that manufactures mattresses.
The purpose of this article was to demonstrate the difference between a pandemic plan’s textual prescription and its effective processing using graphical notation. Before creating a case study of the ...Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) of the Czech Republic’s pandemic plan, we conducted a systematic review of the process approach in pandemic planning and a document analysis of relevant public documents. The authors emphasized the opacity of hundreds of pages of text records in an explanatory case study and demonstrated the effectiveness of the process approach in reengineering and improving the response to such a critical situation. A potential extension to the automation and involvement of SMART technologies or process optimization through process mining techniques is presented as a future research topic.
