This paper reviews the entrepreneurship competences included in the curricula of undergraduate translation and interpretation degrees in Spain to determine whether they explicitly or implicitly match ...the competences included in the EntreComp framework. Our review reveals that the EntreComp entrepreneurial competences are underrepresented in current curricula in Spain, with some remarkable exceptions, particularly regarding the ‘resource management’ and ‘learning by doing’ competences. The SWOT analysis performed using the results derived from the descriptive analysis of the collected data suggests that the spotted strengths and opportunities can compensate for most of the weaknesses. Accordingly, it is our claim that an entrepreneurial approach to education that is compatible with the Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan can be introduced in Spanish translator education programmes within the current framework.
Due to the dramatic rise in the entrepreneurship trend both in education and industry, there is a high growth in the tourism and hospital industry. But the valid tool for assessing talent’s ...entrepreneurship competence wasn’t available. Thus, the aim of this study is to construct an assessment scale for youth’s Restaurant Entrepreneurship Competency (REC) in Taiwan. Methods with qualitative step consisted of expert in-depth interview and Delphi technique which gained 35 original items and 5 domains. It shows the patterns of REC. The quantitative step involved students of universities as participants in the pre-test and survey. The collected 762 valid data were used for exploratory factor analysis, item analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, a total of 29 items passed in the examination and named the “REC Scale.” It could be used to assess youth’s REC, and provide educational resources or designed curriculum for talent cultivation.
Aplikasi Kompetensi Kewirausahaan Kepala Sekolah dalam Mengelola Praktik Kerja Industri pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Abstract: This study aimed to describe and explain the motives, procedure, ...approach, control and benefit applications entrepreneurial competencies of vocational high school headmaster. This study uses a qualitative approach, and multi cases design. The constant comparative method is used for the data analysis. The application motives consists of 12 items, the application procedure consists of 5 steps, a cooperative approach which consists of three items, controlling application that consists of 4 points, and the benefits of the application consists of 4 types, are the result of this study. These findings were support and complement the related theories and policies with vocational high schools. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain multikasus. Untuk analisis data, digunakan metode komparatif konstan. Hasil penelitian adalah motif aplikasi terdiri dari 12 butir, prosedur aplikasi terdiri dari 5 langkah, pendekatan kooperatif terdiri 3 butir, kontrol aplikasi terdiri dari 4 hal, dan manfaat aplikasi terdiri dari 4 tipe. Penemuan ini mendukung dan melengkapi teori-teori yang terkait dengan kebijakan sekolah menengah kejuruan. La introducción del emprendimiento en el sistema educativo español como competencia básica, desde 2006, obedece a una concepción educativa europea a favor del desarrollo de la cultura emprendedora. ...En Andalucía, el programa EME trata de potenciar educativamente el emprendimiento. Precisamos conocer qué impacto real está produciendo este tipo de programas y para ello hemos realizado una investigación narrativa, un estudio biográfico múltiple, con estudiantes que han participado en EME. Con esta investigación, tratamos de comprender cómo sus experiencias formativas han contribuido a la dimensión emprendedora personal. El catálogo de descriptores de la competencia emprendedora que hemos elaborado a partir de los relatos, a su vez, lo hemos sintetizado en indicadores empresariales y personales. Del estudio parece deducirse la existencia de una vinculación entre ambos tipos de indicadores. Finalmente, el Programa EME se mostraría eficaz para el desarrollo de los procesos de producción y del espíritu cooperativo, pero no tanto para otros indicadores de tipo empresarial y personal. The introduction of entrepreneurship in the Spanish educational system as basic competency, since 2006, is due to a European concept of education for the development of the entrepreneurial culture. In Andalusia (Spain), the EME program has been prepared to develop educational entrepreneurship. We need to know what real impact is producing such programs and for this we made a narrative inquiry, a multiple biographical study, with students who have participated in the EME. With this research, we try to understand how their formative experiences have contributed to the formation of the entrepreneur in his personal dimension. The catalogue of descriptors of entrepreneurship competence that we have developed from the stories, in turn, we have synthesized in business and personal indicators. Study seems to infer the existence of a link between both types of indicators. Finally, the EME program will appear effective for the development of the processes of production and the spirit of cooperative, but not so much for other indicators of type business and personal.
This report shows the current background of education as a facilitator of entrepreneurship displaying the main tendencies in the European and Spanish context, and analyzing the case of the Autonomous ...Community of Cantabria. It discusses how entrepreneurship is seen at each stage of our educational system and the initiatives and programs developed in Cantabria around entrepreneurship education, highlighting the LaborESO Program in Secondary Education and the Cantabrian Entrepreneurial Project or the Plan of Development for entrepreneurial spirit in Vocational Training. Finally, challenges to entrepreneurship training education in Cantabria are described.
En este trabajo se muestra el panorama actual de la educación como facilitadora del emprendimiento recogiendo las principales tendencias en el marco europeo y español, analizando el caso concreto de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria. Se analiza cómo se contempla esta competencia en cada una de las etapas que conforman nuestro sistema educativo así como las iniciativas y los programas que se están desarrollando en Cantabria, en torno a la educación para el emprendimiento, destacando el Programa LaborESO desarrollado en la Educación Secundaria, el Proyecto Cantabria emprendedora o el Plan de Fomento del Espíritu Emprendedor desarrollado en la Formación Profesional. Finalmente, se presentan los desafíos a contemplar en la educación para el emprendimiento en Cantabria.
The study aimed (1) to analyze the level of entrepreneurial orientation of local food home industry entrepreneurs and (2) to analyze the determinant factors of the entrepreneurial orientation of ...local food industry entrepreneurs in Bogor Regency. This research was carried out in 14 sub-districts and 20 villages in the center of local food production in Bogor districts involving 214 local food industry household entrepreneurs. Data analysis was simulated using structural equation models (SEM). The results of this study indicate that the entrepreneurial orientation of local food home industry entrepreneurs in Bogor Regency is classified as weak. The determinant factor of the entrepreneurial orientation of local food home industry entrepreneurs consists of individual characteristics of local food industry entrepreneurs; support of government policies on the development of the local food house industry; and entrepreneurial competence. To strengthen the entrepreneurial orientation of local food home industry entrepreneurs, it is necessary to improve the characteristics of entrepreneurship, especially the increase in non-formal education, entrepreneurial entrepreneurship; the remembrance of government policy support in the development of local food home industry and entrepreneurial entrepreneurship of local food industry entrepreneurs
This research is conducted on MSME (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) that are participated in the MSME Syariah Mentoring Program by Academician and Practitioners (PUSPA) organized by Bank Indonesia in ...Bandung. MSME who participated in PUSPA program 2016 is MSME that included in necessity entrepreneur where MSME operated just to fulfil the life necessities. This program aims to improve the competence of entrepreneurship owned by MSME in term of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Increased in the entrepreneurial competence will have an impact on MSME performance both on financial term by the increase in income and non-financial term namely by the increased of the knowledge and skills like simple accounting, managing the production process, how to market the product, and know the procedures for obtaining the venture capital. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of the entrepreneurial competence on the MSME performance in PUSPA program 2016. Researcher used quantitative research method. This research use sampling technique on non-probability sampling that is saturated sampling because the members of population less than 30 people and the entire population is a sample. Total sample in this research is 20 respondents. Data collecting in this research is done by distributing questionnaires to all respondents that is MSME that participated in PUSPA program 2016. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis and descriptive-causal analysis. The result showed that entrepreneurial competence affects the performance of MSME that participated in PUSPA Program 2016. Based on the calculation, coefficient of determination (R2) can be seen the influence of entrepreneurial competence variable (X) on the performance (Y) is 61.7%. While the remaining 38.3 is influenced by other factors such as mentoring, motivation, and human resources.

The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling technique using 74 owners of SMEs processing fishery products. The data used in this study was carried out with quantitative data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) entrepreneurship competence influences the performance of sme, 2) entrepreneurship competency influences competitive advantage, 3) hr competency influences sme performance, 4) hr competency influences competitive advantage, 5) supply chain management affects sme performance , 6) supply chain management influences competitive advantage, 7) sme performance influences competitive advantage.

Variabel penelitian ini meliputi variabel dependen dan independen. Variabel dependen yangdigunakan yaitu Kinerja UKM dan Keunggulan Bersaing. Sedangkan variabel independen terdiri dari kompetensi kewirausahaan, kompetensi sdm dan supply chain management. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan menggunakan 74 pemilik UKM pengolahan hasil perikanan. Data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) kompetensi kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja UKM, 2) kompetensi kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, 3) kompetensi sdm berpengaruh terhadap kinerja UKM, 4) kompetensi sdm berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, 5) supply chain management berpengaruh terhadap kinerja UKM, 6) supply chain management berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, 7) kinerja UKM berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing.
