The purpose of the article is the further development of methodological provisions for economic analysis of the efficiency of use of tangible working resources and their impact on the final results ...of the enterprise. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the scientific works of foreign and domestic scientists on selected issues. In the course of the research general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization of scientific information were used. In addition, the methods of multifactor correlation-regression analysis and deterministic factor analysis were used in writing the work. A mathematical model is proposed, which allowed to assess the degree of influence on the results of operating activities of the enterprise such factors as: the share of tangible current resources in the structure of current assets; turnover ratio of material working capital; the share of working capital in tangible working capital; indicator of profitability of tangible current resources. It is estimated that 85% of the variation of the selected performance indicator is due to variation of the selected factors. A factor analysis of the efficiency of use of tangible working resources was also carried out and the economic effect obtained from accelerating the turnover of tangible working resources was calculated. Theoretical, methodical and organizational bases of the regression analysis of influence of level of use of material circulating resources on size of operating profit of the enterprise have received further development. For the first time, a mathematical model was proposed, which allowed to assess the degree of influence on the operating results of the enterprise of such factors as: the share of tangible current resources in the structure of current assets; turnover ratio of material working capital; the share of working capital in tangible working capital; indicator of profitability of tangible current resources. The practical value of scientific research is that the proposed analytical support of the process of managing the operational activities of the enterprise can increase the efficiency of providing analytical information in the time management system on existing and potential opportunities to improve the efficiency of working capital as one of the main factors influencing operational results. to achieve all financial participants of their financial goals.
The aging population and the associated demand for orthopedic surgeries are increasing health costs. Although the Diagnostic Related Groups (DRG) system was introduced to offer incentives for ...hospitals, concerns remain that reimbursements for older and frail patients do not cover all hospital expenses. We investigated further: (1) Does age influence net financial results in orthopedic surgery? (2) Are there patient or surgical factors that influence results? This retrospective, monocentric study compares costs and reimbursements for orthopedic patients in a tertiary care hospital in Switzerland between 2015 and 2017. The data of 1230 patients were analyzed. Overall, the net results for the hospital were positive, despite 19.5% of patients being treated at a loss. We did not find any correlation between age and profitability (p = 0.61). Patient-related factors associated with financial losses were female sex (p < 0.001) and diabetes (p = 0.013). Patients free of serious comorbidities (p = 0.012) or with a higher cost weight (p < 0.001) were more often profitable. A longer length of stay was associated with higher losses (p < 0.001). This is the first study to address the Swiss DRG reimbursement system in a broad orthopedic population, while also analyzing specific patient and surgical factors. Overall, the reimbursement system is fair, but could better account for certain interventions.
A specific informative indicator allowing judging enterprise movement through its life cycle stages is a Free Cash Flow (FCF). Differences in FCF determining considerably influence its calculation ...and further analysis methods. Thus the issue of FCF size determination algorithm formalization arises. The present time need in practical usage of certain applied aspects regarding the enterprise FCF management stipulates the research issues and thesis relevance as well. The aim – identification of both negative and positive influence factors for the confectionary enterprises FCF by means of correlation and regression analysis; checking of the selected influence factors statistical meaning and model adequacy. The article refers to the correlation and regression analysis, liner regression. It allows transferring from factors functional relation and effective indicator to scholastic dependence. The correlation and regression analysis allows the task solving: to determine the analytical form of relation between the effective and factor indicators as well as define their density relation level. The correlation analysis is held for 15 confectionary enterprises FCF size in 2002-2018 and 85 indicators of No1-3 financial accounting forms indicators in the first case. According to the correlation analysis results 10 influence factors possessing the close relation with FCF size are chosen. Pre-requisite availability of independent and not related factors in the regression modelresults in their reduction to 5. The greatest reverse influence makes the enterprise income from the capital assets sell and financial investments; its correlation coefficient is equal to -0.76. The other factors possess the correlation coefficient meaning at the visible and high level. The received empiric linear regression equation possesses multiple correlation effect on 0.9 level. The hypothesis on heteroscedastic model absence is confirmed. The model received according to the correlation and regression analysis results is adequate and statistically meaningful. The offered model application allows forecasting the general FCF indicator meaning for confectionary industry enterprises as well as determining tendencies in the future and managing it in general.
In the article, models for assessing the innovative potential and results of innovative activity of enterprises in Kharkiv region are built, which makes it possible to classify enterprises according ...to the degree of development of their innovative potential and results of its use. Innovative potential is considered as an integral characteristic of innovative resource support for a production system, which is the sum of human, industrial, technological, financial, structural, scientific and technical, resources that facilitate innovative activity. A scale is developed for assessing innovation activity and susceptibility of industrial enterprises to innovation (innovatively active enterprises (IAE); susceptible to innovation enterprises (SIE); insusceptible to innovation enterprises (IIE). The presented allows for building a model of innovative activity of enterprises taking into account interaction of enterprises and evaluating the impact of government stimulation of innovation on increase in the number of innovatively active enterprises. Using the panel data analysis, a model of financial effect of the number of innovatively active enterprises is built. The developed model is used to predict the results of stimulating innovation activity in the region and to form scenarios for stimulating innovation in regions. To assess the impact of state stimulation of innovation activity on growth in the number of innovatively active enterprises and to evaluate income from the implementation of innovative activity, a model of innovative activity of enterprises that takes into account the probabilistic nature of the diffusion of innovation as a result of interaction of enterprises is constructed. It is found that as a result of the impact of innovatively active production enterprises and SIEs on an IIE, the probability of diffusion is 0.5; i.e., in 50% of cases, the production system passes into the class of production systems that are susceptible to innovation.

Introduction. Financial results of the banking institution activity are one of the most important indicators of its functioning. They characterize the stability and reliability of a commercial bank, ...which is necessary to create reserve funds, to encourage staff and offer guidance to develop and improve operations on the market, reduce costs and improve the quality of services provided. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to determine the composition and significance of financial results for the functioning of the banking institution in the existing competitive environment. Results. The article considers the concept of financial results of a commercial bank as an important element of its activity for achieving competitive advantages in the banking services market. The composition and structure of financial results, factors of possible impact on them are determined. The source of the mapping and recording of the results of the activity is indicated. Attention is paid to the significance of profit as a positive financial result of a commercial bank activity and the priority directions of its distribution are formed. The importance of the relative indicator of the effective activity of a commercial bank as one of the elements of the formation of financial results is substantiated. Conclusions. Thus, in today’s market conditions, one can talk about the expediency of determining the composition of financial results and their significance to ensure the main directions of the functioning of a commercial bank. First of all, in order to increase the level of profitability it is necessary to carry out a comprehensive analysis of income and expenditure, to identify the factors of influence on them, to increase the reserves of activity. Receiving a positive or negative value of financial performance depends primarily on the effectiveness of the interaction of each component of the organization of a modern commercial bank. The ability to correctly identify and manage input and output cash flows will enable a commercial bank to derive significant benefits from its activities, both in the interests of the banking institution itself and in the interests of its clients.
