According to the current management problems of college graduate thesis, combining with the undergraduate graduation thesis management regulations and concrete implementation process in our ...university, This paper analyzes the graduation thesis selecting system functions which based on the web, designs and implements a thesis topic selecting system based on two-way choice between teachers and students, also emphasizes on explaining the information batch introduction of teachers and students, students' primary choices and teachers' confirm, browse and export of students' selected topic situation, statistic of relevant information and extra main function of realization process of the system.
Some Japanese universities have been executing engineering design education intended for educational reforms in engineering. However, the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University proposes that ...academic abilities expected in such a curriculum be supplemented with graduation research, experiment subjects, practice subjects, or other programs. Therefore, engineering design education for first- and second-year students is not newly started in the university. To grasp the educational effects of this policy, a questionnaire survey was conducted for seniors who completed the graduation research. The structure of contributions for the graduation research (competence for “experts”, “human relations”, and “expression”) was extracted using factor analysis. Moreover, it was clarified that academic abilities expected in engineering design education are nearly supplemented with graduation research and other types of subjects, including experiments and practice subjects.

Bidirectional subjects-selection system for graduation thesis emphasizes the students-centered conception and is important to improve quality of graduation thesis. This software is designed specially to meet the needs of subjects-selection requirement. It's based on web and using PHP language and MYSQL database. The system has the characteristics of attractive,convenient and stable. It also has realizes shown that bidirectional subjects-selection system for graduation thesis can greatly give higher efficiency and quality than the traditional method.
This paper objectively investigates the graduation theses and graduation projects in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics from those who have graduated 2007, with a higher emphasis on those ...who major in information management & information system. And this paper analyzes the current situations of graduation theses (projects) from two sides. One side is respective proportion of graduation theses and projects, theme choice, score. The other side is supervising teachers' educational background, professional title, teaching workload, scientific research workload, directing level and enthusiasm. All of these can provide credible evidences and methods for controlling the quality of graduation thesis and projects in information management and information system.
