EN A full size replica of a hind leg of an Edmontosaurus, it consists of 18 bones of different sized that, once mounted, form a piece 1.8 metres high.
The geometric documentation of the surface was ...done by means of convergent photogrammetry over the piece mounted as it is exhibited. Then, every bones was modeled independently and the final results were subsampled to a common resolution of 1 point every 5 mm. These models are suitable for the software for biomechanical studies.
ES Se trata de una réplica a tamaño natural de una pata trasera de Edmontosaurus, compuesta por 18 huesos de diferentes tamaños y que, montada, tiene una altura de 1’8 metros.
La documentación se realizó mediante fotogrametría convergente sobre la pieza montada tal como se encuentra en exhibición. Cada hueso se ha modelado de manera individual y los resultados se han remuestreado a una resolución común de 1 punto cada 5 mm. Estos modelos se han preparado para su uso en programas de estudio de la biomecánica.
EN The outcrop consists of a slab of around 5.5 x 4.5 square metres, located on the edge of the road LR-286 between the districts of El Villar and Poyales (near this latter), the slab has a ...geological dip of around 46º and is protected by a shed roof.
The geometric documentation of the surface was done by means of convergent photogrammetry, besides, two selected areas (corresponding to footprints) were documented with more detail with a structured-light 3D scanner. As results, 3D models of the complete visible part of the stratum and of the two detailed models of the selected footprints. Likewise, orthographic views with photographic textures and color range according to the elevation from the average plan of the exterior surface were produced, moreover, the line boundaries of the footprints taken from a previous database has been represented over the orthoimages too.
ES El afloramiento consiste en una laja de unos 5’5 x 4’5 metros, situada al borde de la carretera LR-286 entre las localidades de El Villar y Poyales (en las proximidades de este último), la superficie presenta un buzamiento de unos 46º y está protegida por una tejavana.
La documentación del estrato se realizó mediante fotogrametría convergente, además, dos zonas seleccionadas (que corresponden a huellas concretas) fueron documentadas utilizando un escáner de luz estructurada. Como resultados, se dispone de los modelos 3D tanto del estrato completo como de las huellas seleccionadas, asimismo se han generado planos con vistas ortográficas perpendiculares a la losa tanto en color verdadero como un sombreado en función de la altura respecto a la superficie de la laja, asimismo, sobre las ortoimágenes se ha incluido el dibujo de los perímetros de las huellas procedente de una base de datos previa.

The official list says that there are about 425 historical parks in Slovakia, 10 of them in the district of Komárno (South Slovakia). Terrain survey has shown that in the said district are 17 more or ...less surviving historical parks, 8 of them being in the town of Hurbanovo, 2 in the town of Komárno and 1 in each of the villages of Bajč, Čičov, Kravany nad Dunajom, Marcelová, Radvaň nad Dunajom, Sokolce, and Svatý Peter. Social evaluation of these parks includes the following aspects: municipality, historical object, natural conditions, social functions, negative points, utilization proposal. Each park was classified according to categories A1, A2, A3, B, and C, together with the best way of reconstruction (conservation method, period-style reconstruction method, new formation method). This survey will be used in other 6 districts of Nitra region.
Territory of northeast Serbia is characterized with exceptionally geodiversity. A great number of geological, geomorfological, hydrological and archeological sites deserve, based on different ...criteria, to be included in protected sites of geoheritage. Except protected sites in frame of National Park Đerdap, only 12 sites (geomorphological and hidrological character) on the rest of territory are in the Registry of Protected Natural Assets of Serbia.
Naturalis Biodiversity Center has a collection of over 37 million zoological, botanical and geological specimens from sources across the globe with a focus on Europe, Southeast Asia, South America ...and Africa. These details make the Naturalis collection one of the largest and most diverse collections of natural specimens in the world. The digitisation of nearly 9 million of these specimens is therefore of tremendous significance and value to researchers everywhere. The research encompassed the development of an industrial style of digitisation which differed from traditional natural history digitisation projects whereby a tailor-made process is developed for each separate collection. The researchers developed nine 'digistreets', that is, a standardised practice for each type of collection to be digitised. For example these could be preserved or jarred specimens, dried plants or geological artefacts. This methodology, together with five years of intense and dedicated work resulted in the digitisation of 8,665,000 objects. This number was 23 per cent more than the original target of 7 million and can therefore be viewed as a huge success. The standardisation of the practice also enables the project to be easily continued despite the end of its original five-year period.
Jury Citation: The digitisation of a natural collection such as that of Naturalis Biodiversity Center is no small feat. This achievement was recognised by the jury for "the grand scope and the ambitious nature of its research and, most importantly, for the future global research that it has facilitated". The jury appreciated "the potential of this project to facilitate further research programmes, allowing researchers, as well as the public, to explore a significant part of this collection remotely via Europeana and an API (online database system)". This was viewed as an exceptionally generous aspect of the project's dissemination and an example of best practice in collection digitisation. The jury felt that "the selection of specimens from such a huge collection as well as the planning and execution of the project was immensely impressive". The project's preservation of several important natural collections and its link to the world of natural heritage was also credited for the way in which it promotes the interaction between these two worlds.

EN This paper introduces the only Euriasian taxon of the wild grapevine, Vitis vinifera L. subsp. sylvestris (Gmelin) Hegi, its domestication and the anthropic causes that have drastically reduced ...the populations of this subspecies from the Iberian Peninsula to Afghanistan. Besides, reference is made to the problem of the loss of biodiversity in the vineyard and to the importance of this native vine in order to reduce that genetic erosion.
On the other hand, it is pointed out that, although this parental of the cultured grapevine is protected by law in France, a major loss of specimens has occurred in this region. According to our observations, which began in 1992 and were verified in 2015, several areas covered with Atlantic climax vegetation were completely destroyed near St. Jean de Luz, specifically, in the Acotz-Chibau area.
Cartographic information concerning the remaining relict populations of wild grapevines is included in order to facilitate in situ conservation work. Furthermore, data on the accompanying vegetation and the health status of the grapevines are also presented.
ES En este trabajo se hace una introducción al único taxón euroasiático de vid silvestre, Vitis vinífera L. subsp. sylvestris (Gmelin) Hegi, al proceso de su domesticación y a las causas antrópicas que han mermado drásticamente las poblaciones de esta subespecie, desde la Península Ibérica hasta Afganistán. Asimismo, se hace referencia al problema de la pérdida de biodiversidad del
viñedo y se subraya la importancia de estas parras autóctonas para mitigar esa erosión genética.
En el mismo se señala que, pese a la ley de protección de este parental de las viníferas cultivadas en Francia, se ha producido una importante pérdida de ejemplares en esta zona. Según nuestras observaciones, comenzadas en 1992 y contrastadas con las de 2015, algunas zonas cubiertas con vegetación clímax atlántica han sido completamente destruidas en las inmediaciones de St. Jean de Luz, concretamente en la zona de Acotz-Chibau.
Por otra parte, se incluye la información cartográfica de las poblaciones relictas de vid silvestre que aún se conservan, con el fin de facilitar las tareas de conservación in situ de las mismas.

ES La parte documentada del yacimiento corresponde a una zona descubierta de unos 18 x 7’5 metros que se encuentra protegida por una tejavana. El estrato sobre el que se sitúan las icnitas (huellas de dinosaurios) tiene un buzamiento de unos 23 grados sexagesimales en dirección noreste.
La documentación del estrato se realizó mediante fotogrametría convergente, además, dos zonas seleccionadas (que corresponden a una huella concreta y un rastro) fueron documentadas utilizando un escáner de luz estructurada. Como resultados, se dispone de los modelos 3D tanto del estrato completo como de las huellas seleccionadas, asimismo se ha generado un plano con una vista ortográficas perpendiculares a la losa en color verdadero, también se dispone de un vídeo tomado desde un dron que muestra el entorno del yacimiento.

The castle area with very large English park was established in the 19th century after the project of H. Nebbien. From the architectonic and biological aspects the area belongs to the category of ...important objects in Slovakia. Its history is also connected with Ludwig van Beethoven and his short stay in the castle, which is nowadays used as the House of Slovak Compositors. Based on the park evaluation, planting and architectonic values of woody species the proposal to renovate this historic park has been prepared. The inventory of woody plants showed that on the park area of 15.3 ha there are 41 tree and 28 shrub species of which 84% belong to hardwood stand and 16% to conifer stands. According to the planting value and health conditions of woody plants, the garden-architectonic renovation of the park (e.g. rosarium, small architecture elements) has been designed.
