Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest centrum nauki jako instytucji pośredniego wychowania. Koncepcje wystaw i eksponatów Exploratorium — centrum nauki założonego w 1969 roku w San Francisco przez Franka ...Oppenheimera — przedstawione zostają jako inspiracja, która przyświecała utworzeniu warszawskiego Centrum Nauki Kopernik. Powstanie Kopernika zostaje osadzone w historycznym i kulturowym kontekście zmian dotyczących zarówno paradygmatu muzeów, jak i w szerszej perspektywie przekształcania się kulturowego wyobrażenia edukacji. Opis pedagogicznych założeń eksponatów i wystaw ma na celu rekonstrukcję nowego paradygmatu relacji między zwiedzającym a instytucją wystawienniczą, jaką jest centrum nauki. Kluczowa kwestia dotyczy modelowanej przez Kopernika relacji między społeczeństwem a nauką. Wprowadzona do społecznej praktyki edukacyjnej (upowszechniania kultury, w szczególności nauki) nowa instytucja ma w tym zamyśle uruchamiać nowe myślenie w skali ogólnospołecznej i prowadzić do zmiany społeczno-kulturowej.
Since the number of academic specializations and disciplines has consistently been increasing, it has become necessary to supplement present classifications and categorizations, as well as come up ...with new ones, on a regular basis. Therefore, it has become feasible to distinguish a new branch of science as well as to assign the existing disciplines to different branches. It is owing to such a process that political sciences have been reassigned in Poland. Before September 30, 2011, political sciences had been categorized as the humanities, but later on they were encompassed by a new branch of social sciences, created as a result of the division of the humanities. I adopt the thesis that this decision was substantially justified since, given current legal status quo, political sciences as a discipline have more in common with other disciplines assigned to social sciences than the humanities. Additionally, by way of developing a new register of disciplines, the administrative divisions in Polish science were to a large extent aligned with the classification of branches and disciplines adopted by the OECD, UNESCO and Eurostat, which will facilitate the internationalization of academic collaboration. The above organizations and institutions, and – consequently – some of their member states, have already divided the humanities, sometimes also named social sciences, into two separate branches: social sciences and humanities. In order to justify the above‑mentioned thesis it was necessary to determine how academic specialization, discipline, branch and field of science are perceived today; to indicate the determinants of divisions in science and basic criteria for such divisions; to attempt to define the specific nature of the humanities versus social sciences; and to present the factors confirming the relation of political science to the latter category.

The Origins of Polish Language Studies at Poznań University Linguistic studies on the Polish language and literature were first conducted at the Faculty of Philosophy of Poznań University ...(established in 1919). Studies on literary theory were pursued in the Department of History of Polish Literature, whereas linguistic studies in the Department of Slavic Philology and Indo-European Linguistics. Initially, these studies were supervised by scholars who came from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow: Mikołaj Rudnicki and Tadeusz Lehr-Spławiński, as well as Stanisław Dobrzycki who was active in two fields, theory of literature and linguistics. It was only in 1922 that the Department of the Polish Language was established thanks to the efforts of Edward Klich, who also came from Cracow. At first, Polish language studies at Poznań University concentrated on two fields: onomastics (with components of etymology), and dialectology. More comprehensive research was conducted since the establishment of the Department of the Polish Language which was joined by a new generation of linguists, including graduates of Poznań University.

Dokonuje także porównania antropologii i polskiego kulturoznawstwa w kontekście metafizycznych i ontologicznych perspektyw badań humanistycznych.
As the political science has been assigned to new field and domain of social science in 2011 instead of being assigned to humanities, it has caused astonishment and some kind of discomfort in many ...centres of political science. It was similar to introducing of a new field called public policy science. Assessment of the environment was quiet diverse. As far as by the public policy science one can notice lack of interest, by the new assignment of policy science one can distinguish three contentions: inclusion of the political sciences in the domain of social science, renewed assignment of policy sciences to humanities and assignment of the political sciences to both domains (management studies alike). The third solution is the most supported one in the environment of political scientists. On the same time statements of politicians about reportedly demanded education of welders instead of political scientists and diminished interest with political studies have made the environment of policy analysis anxious. It is to be emphasised that we are not newly formed field of science and any discussions about status of our domain are an ancient history. At the present day staff of the centres of political sciences is outweighed by people, who graduated political studies and their scientific development together with their tittles of professor have been connected with investigations on the field of political studies. This way the environment grows stronger. A few dangers to political science can be pointed out. First of all there is an aspiration to autonomy of some subfields. Second, there is lack of scientific discussion in the environment. Third, there is a western technique of mechanical “scaling”, “measuring” and other ways of evaluation of one’s academic background, which does not fit to Polish reality and also pervert valuable academic backgrounds.
In Poland political science has recently been classified as a part of the branch of social sciences. The aim of this paper is not to question the reasons behind such a categorization as the relation ...of political science (along with such disciplines as legal sciences and sociology) to social sciences is something obvious. However, I claim that it is worthwhile to reassess the arguments that provide for including political science also in the humanities. In addition to the tradition, the solutions adopted by other countries, and the Polish legal experiences, one should take into account an important research conducted by those political scientists who deal with history of political thought and contemporary political philosophy.
