Haematochemical levels of glucose, NEFA, tryglicerides, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, total proteins, albumin and urea were determined in 30 Sarda goats, raised on open pasture on 3 different ...dairy farms. Fifteen goats were high-yield animal, and fifteen were low-yield. Most values remained constant throughout lactation and were not related to the yield of the animals. However, all parameters but not NEFA were significantly different among farms
In 30 capre Sarde, allevate al pascolo libero in tre aziende, sono stati determinati i livelli ematochimici di glucosio, NEFA, trigliceridi, colesterolo totale, colesterolo HDL, proteine totali, albumina e urea. La meta' degli animali era ad alta produzione, l'altra meta' a produzione bassa. La maggior parte dei valori rimaneva costante durante la lattazione e non era correlata alla resa degli animali. Comunque, tutti i parametri ma non i NEFA erano significativamente differenti fra le diverse aziende
