With the development of information technology, online assessments have been widely adopted in College English. Up to date, the majority of studies pertaining to online assessments have been about ...assessment environments and invigilating, as well as the benefits deriving from online assessments. However, there is a lack of studies with regards to the candidates’ experience and views on online assessments and the impact of online assessments on their grades. After collecting the data from results of three tests taken by 126 candidates, a questionnaire survey was designed for all of them and 20 relevant candidates were interviewed, it was thus found that online assessments do have a negative impact on the performance and the candidates prefer traditional testing on paper.

This study aims to identify elementary school teachers’ perspectives on the role of didactic aids in attaining the educational objectives of fourth grade Islamic Education, as well as the most ...significant differences in individuals’ responses to both technological and textbook aids in achieving those objectives. To this end, the researchers opted for the descriptive analytical approach selecting a random sample of 35 people, and conducting interviews as a data-gathering tool. The findings demonstrated that didactic aids play an effective role in achieving the educational objectives of fourth grade Islamic education. Furthermore, due to gender and professional experience, there are no statistically significant differences, at the level of significance (a=0.05), between elementary school teachers’ responses on the role of the textbook as an aid and the technological aids in achieving the aforementioned objectives
This study aims to determine whether using teaching aids in direct learning can increase the teaching motivation of teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research is only limited ...to increasing teacher motivation in teaching by using teaching aids at SMP Negeri 1 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency. The research subjects consisted of 23 teachers. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the aspect of the principal's activity as a facilitator is achieved with a score of 25 or with a percentage of 63 from all aspects of the assessment or by 63% of all activities are achieved. Then in the second cycle, the score obtained was 38 or with a percentage of 95% of all aspects achieved. In the aspect of teacher activity as a participant in this study, in the first cycle, the score obtained from the implementation of the direction by the principal got a score of 52 or with a percentage of achievement of 28%. Then in cycle II, the participation rate was 76% higher than cycle I and with an implementation score of 80. In terms of teacher motivation during the implementation of the direction from cycle I to cycle II, teacher motivation in using teaching aids tended to increase. In the first cycle, the percentage of achievement was 64% in the good category, then the second cycle got a percentage of 82% or in the very good category.
