En este artículo indagamos en una de las relaciones más profusamente abordadas por la antropología: la relación entre las familias y la educación de los/as niños/as y jóvenes. Desde un ...posicionamiento que entiende estas vinculaciones como heterogéneas, epocales y locales, abordamos desde un enfoque etnográfico una modalidad específica: "la cooperadora de padres". Nuestros análisis se enmarcan en nuestra investigación doctoral, que analiza etnográficamente los procesos de intervención social para la inclusión de las infancias y las juventudes focalizando en el programa socioeducativo "Orquestas Escuela" de la provincia de Buenos Aires en Argentina. De este modo, a partir de lo documentado en el territorio durante nuestro trabajo de campo (2016-2018), en el que realizamos observación participante y entrevistas en profundidad con una diversidad de sujetos (adultos/as con niños/as y jóvenes a su cargo, docentes, niños/as y jóvenes destinatarios/as, coordinadores, preceptores), problematizamos la "participación" de los/as adultos/ as en la educación de niños/as y jóvenes sosteniendo que esta es significada por los sujetos de manera diferencial, se entrama a sus condiciones de posibilidad y debe ser atendida contextualmente. Daremos cuenta de múltiples presencias de los/as adultos/as en las que ponen en juego sus experiencias, sentidos respecto de lo estatal y lo gubernamental, procesos de configuración y adjudicación de obligaciones y responsabilidades; y construyen así, modalidades de participación locales.
In recent years, young people's behavior has undergone major changes as they have been affected by the crisis that influences their future perspectives and goals. In this context, the demands of ...youth pose a relevant challenge to social work education. To respond to this challenge, social work education programmes should be adapted. Using meta-analysis methods, this article reviews the current situation of educational programmes focused on young people in the field of social work. Four areas were identified as results from the literature review: social work education programmes focused on specific needs, the adoption of ICTs to complement social work education services, the development of children's programmes to address problematic situations in their earlier stages, and proposals for improving educational programmes. The main findings show that most studies focused on improving social work education programmes and analyzing the specific needs of social work users. On the other hand, ICTs are not included in most of the articles selected. These results allow us to identify several key recommendations that will assist social work education programmes in successfully adopting and implementing changes experienced to better meet the needs of young people in their daily practice.

The Catholic Church makes a choice in favour of a preventive educational method, stimulates mentors to abandon the extremes: agnosticism, subjectivism, paternalism, authoritarianism in pedagogy — to prevent unwanted actions or aggression of teenagers. An important place in the theoretical developments of the Church is given to the education of adolescents critical attitude to the media, support for the family, evangelization, protection of traditional values, formation of a humanitariarism
Objectives
This study presents findings from piloting an adapted evidence-based intervention, Stepping Stones and Creating Futures, to change street-connected young people’s HIV knowledge, condom-use ...self-efficacy, and sexual practices.
Methods
Eighty street-connected young people participated in a pre- and post-test mixed methods design in Eldoret, Kenya. The primary outcome of interest was HIV knowledge. Secondary outcomes included condom-use self-efficacy and sexual practices. Multiple linear regression models for change scores with adjustment for socio-demographic variables were fitted. Qualitative and quantitative findings are presented together, where integration confirms, expands on, or uncovers discordant findings.
Results
Participants had a significant increase in HIV knowledge from pre- to post-intervention. The median HIV knowledge score pre-intervention was 11 (IQR 8–13) and post-intervention 14 (IQR 12–16). Attendance was significantly associated with HIV knowledge change scores. Qualitatively participants reported increased HIV and condom-use knowledge and improved condom-use self-efficacy and health-seeking practices.
Conclusions
Our findings support the potential for further testing with a rigorous study design to investigate how best to tailor the intervention, particularly by gender, and increase the overall effectiveness of the program.

This paper explores a collaborative program focused on identifying the role of archaeology in heritage education and management delivered under cultural leadership. The method of delivery and ...teaching is reflexive and adaptive, via on-ground conservation projects that have tangible social outcomes focused on empowering Alaskan Native youth. A case study from the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska examines how action-oriented education, via conservation, is critical to the development of a more socially relevant archaeology. At the same time, the program ensures the archaeological process links with the transmission of Indigenous Knowledge Systems and the incorporation of local cultural structures for practical landscape management.
