  • Varanje na ispitima = Cheating on exams
    Pšunder, Majda
This article presents a brief survey of the development of prohibited acts, beginning with Hamurabi's code and subsequently discussing other important ideas. The chapter on phenomenology caused us ... some problems as we could not find any tangible classification of cheating on exams in the existing literature. We therefore attempted to come up with a suitable definition as well as to identify various forms and concrete ways in which cheating with notes occurs. We also looked at cheating with original sources, cheating involving a second person and the ways in which it is done, and cheating with mobile phones, including those with the wap system. Our research was carried out on a sample of 862 persons and confirmed our hypothesis that cheating does occur, that those engaging in it use various methods and that cheating consitutes an ilicit act. We determined the frequency and different ways in which it occurs, its causes as well as its eventual disclosure. We conclude with arguments condemning leniency toward cheating on exams
