Application of computer simulation of road railing reaction to vehicle crash leads to considerable cost reduction of their development and needs testing inorder to obtain European accreditation. ...Especially for the purpose of virtual testing of road railings some special computer models of test vehiclesfor high level of retardation have been developed. Two trucks (masses 10 and 16 t) and a city bus (of 13 t) have been developed. The article shows the results of computer simulations of reaction of different road railing constructions with a high level of retardation, which have been performed withthe programme package LS-DYNA. The results of simulations show suitabilityof the developed models of vehicles.
