Selecting technology for interactive web application development

This paper addresses a web-technology selection dilemma that exists before the start of a new web project or composite module. There are many competitive technologies on the market today and project ...managers or developers' team leaders often do not know which is the most suitable web technology to apply. To avoid this dilemma, we have developed a model that makes selecting web technology easier. It is based on project or module characteristics that act as input parameters. These parameters go through decision steps (based on quantity measurements) and as a result we are left with a suggestion for the most appropriate technology.
