In this article we discuss the phenomenon of magnetic fluid heating effect when exposed to alternating magnetic field. For this purpose a measurement system that evaluates heating power of magnetic ...fluid exposed to a known magnetic field has been built. The aim of this paper is to use finite element method (FEM) for calculating the heating of the magnetic fluid sample and compare it with measured values for several different amplitudes of magnetic field.
