Method for torque determination of a wind turbine [Elektronski vir]

The article presents a method for torque determination of a wind turbine. In paper two experimental setups are described. The first one is used for determination of the wind speed influence on the ...electrical quantities of a wind turbine synchronous generator. The second experimental setup is used for torque measurement of the wind turbine at the same speed and load conditions as in the first experimental setup. Results of measurements from both experimental setups are complete electrical and mechanical characteristics of a wind turbine. The presented method is suitable for re-designing of existing wind turbines.
