World's cultural heritage (Pablo Picasso) as a bridge for international cooperation (Slovenia, Croatia) in the field of art education [Elektronski vir]

We would like to establish the cross-cultural connections between two parts: the first is cultural heritage par excellence - the opus of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and the second are possibilities ...for international cooperation between Slovenia and Croatia in the field of Art education. After the division of ex Yugoslavia in 1991, new borders appear between republics on Balkan. Before homogenous and united educational system disperse, the differences increase. Instead of linking the separation is a process in that area. To invert the process of separation we developed the example of international cooperation. The work of Pablo Picasso was used as a neutral bridge between Slovenian art educators and Croatian local political and educational structures for the project where different workshops for children (preschool and elementary school) were realized. This survey represents the dilemmas, problems, possibilities, ideas and results of that kind of international cooperation. The process is still in progress in 2008.
