    Some computer applications from everyday practice are presented using the software package OCEAN designed for analyses, dimensioning and optimization of plates, plane frames, shear walls, plane and ... space trusses, thin-walled structures and plates on columns. The transient period in the implementation of new European standards for concrete structures initiated the implementation of Eurocode 2 into OCEAN, Vesion 4.40 in modules MORJE (plate bending) and OKVIR (plane frames). The use of these standards in reinforcement calculations during the transient period should help in the evaluation of the final proposal of new SI standards.
