Pregled možnosti minimiranja odpadkov in racionalne porabe energije v Tovarni sukancev in trakov : poročilo

The costs of energy, process water, dyes, chemicals and textile auxiliary agents have a great impact to the production costs. The factories have to minimize their consumption and to increase their ...utilization as much as possible. On the other hand rational consumption of energy, process water and materials contribute to the environment protection in a great deal. This is becoming an important factor to create a good image of the company in the market. The management of Tovarna sukancev in trakov realizes that increase of production, decrease of the production costs and improvement of the products quality is the right way to survive strong market competition. Introduction of ISO 9001 standard is the first step which is almost finished. In the next year they intend to modernize the dyeing apparata by introducing air-pad dyeing of treads and by using new automatisation. Their special intention is search for possibilities how to decrease their production costs. We started with assessment phase and data collection. After mass and energy balance the possible losses have been determinated. We realized that 16 % of steam and 38 % of water was lost. We proposed alternatives such as recycling of waste heat, improvement of steamcondensate system, decreasing of water usage by drop-fill rinsing instead of overflow rinsing, good housekeeping and regular maintenance. We concluded that it was possible to save 40 of water, 30 % of steam, chemicals and textile auxiliary agents. The payback period is less than one year. The production of waste water could be decreased by 31 %. In the next phase we will finish the project documentation of boiler house andtry to find financial funds for implementation of the proposed options. We will also optimise rinsing and heat exchanger network.
