    Isothiazolones are modern and relatively low-toxic compounds from the group of electrophile microbiocides. Due to their high antimicrobial acitivity they are very efficient at very low applied ... concentrations. Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone were followed during the synthesis by the analytical procedre using HPLC. The separation is achieved with elution using methanol, tetrahydrofuran and H3PO4 as eluents on a reverse phase column and was monitored at 280 nm. The validation of linearity, the precision and the accuracy of analysis are described. The slope and the intercept of the regression line were calculated by the least squares method. The quality coefficient (QC) was calculated, and the F-test was then applied to check heteroscedasticity before the model fit was further checked by the ANOVA lack of fit test. Satisfactory results were were obtained. The method showed good accuracy, precision and linearity.
