Vpliv končne obdelave tekstilnega materiala na termofiziološke lastnosti izdelkov ter udobje uporabnikov

The purpose of the present work is to determine the influence of the final treatment of textile fabrics on the thermal-physiological properties of garments and on the thermal comfort of users. Two ... sets of garments for sports and recreation of the same cut, but different in some specific design parameters and top finishing were tested. The influence of garments on the thermal loading of test persons was determined via heart beat frequency, average skin temperature and the amount of evaporated sweat. The subjective feeling of thermal comfort was stated by a questionnaire. The experimental results were evaluated statistically. The results of our research indicate that the textile fabric used and the final treatment applied are of vital importance for the thermal properties of garments. It is shown how to improve the thermal properties of garments with poor vapour permeability, an information of importance to garment manufacturers.
