Papers relates to the study of filter materials and tries to point out the role of the woven scrim inside to improve useful characteristics and duration. Needlefelt as textille filter cleanning ...operation requires higher dimensional stability. Therefore filter materials with scrim reinforcement were developed. Their construction assured appropriate tensile strength and elongation during filtering and cleanning operations. When developing the filter materials, high-performance fibres Nomex were used which enable high-temperature filtration.
