New media has to be introduced to the interdisciplinary studies of mechatronics. Internet and World Wide Web are new means in the teaching. The teaching approach, which is practiced at Institute of ...robotics for last few years, is presented. It is shown how the teaching material is prepared, how the homeworks are issued and the student training for lab work is presented. Using contemporary methods they get used of up-to-date technology, which will be used in their profession. The teaching means based on the new technology will not replace the traditional way of teaching. However, it will supplement it and improve significantly.
